It wasn’t clear when the Iranian missiles were fired. The statement said that two Iranian oil carriers were “permanently disabled” and the third, unladen one, was destroyed. The U.S. statement called the tankers part of a shadow network helping to fund Iran’s powerful Revolutionary Guard and its armed proxies in the region. Iran says it struck back in response Iran’s state broadcaster said later Saturday that Iran targeted three oil tankers and three American vessels in response to the U.S. strikes. This couldn’t be immediately confirmed. Comments: The major problem with America and Americans is that they have been told for a long time that they are exceptional. For a while they might have been but slowly they have become more or less another empire that lost touch with reality. After WWII and the fall of Soviet Union, they became too cocky. Just like any bully, they had no one who would stand up to them. Slowly but surely, the rest of the world grew sick of the bully. They figured a “strong man” like Trump could bring the good old days. It backfired. Americans are not ready to be just another country.
