Comments: I think Trump said all those things publicly to calm Yaboo down, and doubt has any real intention of military action against Iran. He learned quickly Iran is not playing anymore and will retaliate in the form of hitting neighbor allies and even Israel and he was told this time it will be for real too. I think behind the scenes he was told by Putin, Iran has the right to a so called peaceful nuclear program and he kinda agreed at least whatever that means in Trump’s language
Comments: Zinsky, I have seen those videos too. There is doubt these dys with everything but they seemed real. I talked to my cousin who says nobody here is thinking about improvement let alone regime change. They are just hoping that things just do not get worse.
Comments: This means YAboo was unsuccessful. We'll see what is next in this chapter. Economy is a related but separate chapter.

Comments: A second day of protests in Iran raged on Monday as demonstrators voiced anger over the rapidly falling value of the rial. Regime officials blamed the unrest and broader economic decline on “enemy psychological warfare.” Shopkeepers in Tehran closed their stores, and mass demonstrations broke out in response to the rial’s fall. Clashes reportedly occurred across multiple streets in Tehran, with authorities using tear gas to disperse the protesters, according to footage of the events.

Comments: I don’t have confirmation from friends and family back home but seen videos of widespread demonstrations in Tehran. Few from the bazar and others in the streets. Anyone has real information? Unfortunately, social media is not reliable at all…
Comments: Update for those who care!!! Water heater is fixed, maybe! The new water heater was installed and the technician waited about 10 minutes and said all is good! Water is hot but there is a small leak from the copper pipe above the heater!!! Coming back tomorrow AGAIN…🤯

Comments: Rumor has it, Khamenaie is in hospital and not doing well. Some even say he may have expired but the people around him is keeping it quiet for now
Comments: The Iran game plan is simple. Make life miserable until people accept anyone, even an incompetent foreign agent. Then the Pahlavi cycle will restart with RPG. In the process the nation is robbed of an opportunity to finding its own leaders and determining its own destiny. That time might be near. In the recent Yaboo meeting, I do not think he proposed to Trump another war. He saw that this would be painful for him and possibly end of his reign in Israel. I think he proposed a plan for regime change. RPG better suite up.
Comments: Thanks guys. I have cable, WiFi and landlines with Verizon fiber (Fios). I’m paying $250+/month for all. I don’t need the landline nor the cable. I’m going to call Verizon to figure out what is the price for internet/wifi only. I’ll also do some comparisons with AT&T and T-Mobile.

Comments: By the way, I canceled my cable TV years ago. Got tired of paying for ridiculous and bias content like bullshit cnn. I have streaming and a homemade hd antenna for local channels. works great.
Comments: lol is right. Starlink is not a replacement for wifi unless you are planning to get starlink for each device in your home which will be very expensive. I am assuming by wifi you mean connecting everything in your home to the internet. For that there are several solutions. 1. If you do not have a spread out house and it goes mostly up than wide, traditional wifi works. This works for homes that spread about 30 meters from your wifi router horizontally. There are some cheap options here, as low as $70. You do not need to get the 6G or multiband stuff. It is an over kill for most homes. 2. If you house spreads wide horizontally rather than vertically beyond 30 meters or so in each direction, a mesh network works well. These usually run a bit more expensive but give you wider coverage. 3. Ethernet over power. This is where you use the power system in your house as e ethernet wiring. For is you need special adapters. They run about $70 for each set of 2. You will need one for your router and one for each computer. Advantages are that you do not have a range issue and there is no radiation. packages ard also not lost as much as they are in wifi. disadvantage is that it comes t lower speeds since the power wiring is not designed for ethernet. I use a combination of 1 and 3 (mostly to reduce radiation and stable connectivity). Speed over wifi depends on distance. I get about 600gbps close to the router and about 200gbps at the farthest distance of the house. Over power lines I get about 70gbps. We watch multiple streamed movies at the same time over these onnections and have no issues. I have the basic spectrum plan for internet $60/month.
Comments: I just checked Starlink for my area. It costs $625 for the equipment and professional setup, this includes a $100 demand surcharge! Monthly charges are $120 a month for the highest speed, or $80 for basic. Not sure what you mean by Wi-Fi only, this is basic internet like all ISPs except that you get it from a satellite and you have a mount a dish on your roof. I am paying around $125 for internet and landline phone and it's very reliable. So it's not a good deal for me, at least not for now ![]()
Comments: Question for everyone in US. I’m going to cancel my cable. I only need WiFi for the home. I have few streaming services that should do the job. Any suggestions for the WiFi? Should I go with starlink?
Comments: I have learned to accept that everything in Boston is more expensive! They said it is a two mans job due to size of the tank. They also have to get permit for the gas heater which is pretty stupid since we are replacing the like for like!
