Afarain Ali Daei. He is really our hero and I hope that he can candidate himself to lead Iran or have high position in the next government.

About RP he has not shown much leadership in this movement, he is not really leading this movement but Iran Gen Z like him because he is a brand and people trust him because of what his father and grandfather did. But he is nowhere near those two.
People do not trust their own parents and grandparents because of what happened in 57. They don't trust people like us 😊. That is why majority is chanting his name.
The divide about RP is all outside Iran. We do not see fight between pro RP supporters and for example the eslahtalab supporters inside Iran. Outside of Iran there is more fight against RP. RP is not well liked by a good portion of Iranian outside. Shahollahi and Left are at each other's throat outside.
But In Iran people are listening to likes of Zibakalam, Mehdi Nasiri, Mehdi Moteharnia, and Mousa Ghaninejad about what Reza Shah and Mhammad Reza shah did in Iran and that is why people are asking for Pahlavi return. It is not like RP asked people to go to streets.
RP has not shown any leadership like an opposition leaders should do.

Hamvatan it is really sad that shahollahies are attacking people like Daei. The internal opposition represents the legitimate representation of people of Iran. This clearly shows that shahollahies really do not care about people. all they care about is for RPG to come back.  [mad]

I think people are emboldened enough to finish the job. Living under IRI is no longer financially sustainable if you are not part of the regime. It will splinter the Sepah too specially at the lower layers.

Meanwhile shahollahi's are trying to derail the movement by making it explicitly about RP by attacking well known internal opposition. They are accusing Daei, Taraneh Alidousti and Narges Mohammadi of being IRI tools!  And of course MK/Mossad idiots spreading false news of non-existent victories like "2 cities have fallen" which will dishearten people once it is known as lies.

Number of deaths and injuries climbing fast as the demonstrators are growing in number. Still, no action by Trump!
This could end this regime if rather than few thousand people, it grows to few hundreds of thousands or even a million people in Tehran and other cities. Talking to people in Iran, I get the feeling that people are not going to let this go without a fight.

I'm always in the mood when Iran plays. They are in a very tough group with KOR, UZB and LEB. They got pretty talented players mostly from PGL and a young and hungry coach in Omid Ravankhah. I think it's gonna be a boom or bust for them, either win the group or place last [biggrin]

International relations! It’s much more complicated than most of us could imagine. I’m not sure what is the game plan between US/West and Russia/China. If they do have a plan to divide the world between them, it will happen.
Latest movement in Iran is to further destabilize the regime by attacking the factories and manufacturing areas that are owned by the big guys in Iran.
It seems that the world is quietly moving away from this regime and planning to take over the country and make it work for them.
It seems Russia accepted the fact that Ukraine and few other Eastern European countries are worth passing the other countries like Syria, Venezuela and Iran to US. China also wants a total dominance in Eastern Asia.

Moscow doesn’t and never will allow Iran to turn into a Western puppet like the Pahlavi regime was. That indeed is a red line for them as the proximity and shared borders make it impossible for Russia to sleep at night if a NATO aligned country is bordering it to the south.

So I believe even if for short term, IR is staying where it is at.

Dollar surpassed 147,000 Toman for the first time. This can’t be good for Khamenie, he’s days are numbered if they can’t control the runaway train that’s inflation this time.

Protesters angry over Iran’s ailing economy conducted a sit-in Tuesday at Tehran’s Grand Bazaar, witnesses said, with security forces ultimately firing tear gas and dispersing demonstrators as the rest of the market shut down.
The protest at the Grand Bazaar, the beating heart for centuries of both Iran’s economic and political life, represents the latest signal that the demonstrations likely are to continue as the country’s rial currency fell to a record low Tuesday. Already, violence surrounding the protests has killed at least 35 people with authorities detaining more than 1,200 others, activists abroad say.
Meanwhile, the situation is likely to worsen as Iran’s Central Bank drastically reduced the subsidized exchange rates for dollars it offers to importers and producers in the country. That likely will see merchants pass on price hikes in the coming days for goods directly onto consumers, whose life savings already have dwindled over years of international sanctions targeting the Islamic Republic.
