Comments: After watching and reading the explanation for the offside called on Croatia, I am less mad about our offsides! We had an ass and a toe in offside position. Theirs was hair on his head that could not be seen on VAR but the chip in the ball determined a contact!!! That is pretty stupid. Once again, if it is sooooo close that you need multiple refs, multiple angles, slow motion and finally use of a chip in the ball to determine the fate of a game, it should not be called! We are pretty much getting ready for “no human refs” in the next few WCs!
Comments: Paraguay will be gone soon too. The extra teams were only there to make more money for the corrupt FIFA. In terms of football, the third place selection was an incredible mess which resulted in not all best 32 teams advance, and those who advanced, were not managed well and so, some strong teams got eliminated. This always happens but it happened a lot more frequently now. Japan, Holland, and to some extent Germany are all among the top 16 teams in the world.
