Comments: I agree Zinsky. These fights should be left for election and as you said for the ballot boxes. Not now. Comments: That makes sense. I think he could ask for money from his supporters. Maybe $20 each. Unfortunately, both sides of this fight are going all out as if he is a real candidate and people of Iran are going to ballot boxes next month! Supporters are relentless and have no tolerance for anyone else. The haters are also going out of their way to demolish him day in and day out. I suppose that is what happens when one puts his/her name in the running, even if it’s only an imaginary ballot box! Some of his loudest supporters are similar to our old friends in the other site. Labeling people anti America and supporter of the IRI. The haters are also becoming too angry about him and his supporters. This is not going to help the movement at all. Divided, Iran will not have a chance. The best way forward is to let everyone talk and see who gets the most traction. Of course, this is Iran and Iranians who are thirsty for freedom but unfortunately don’t know what that means. I’m still hopeful that the youth are smarter than that!

Comments: Great set of criteria. I agree. #2 is shady as hell which makes the dependence shady as hell! This is my biggest fear. Let's say all plans are successful and he becomes the next ShAh after KhAmenei. Then the funders (likely Israel and USA) tell him that he has to give up the three islands and through the same mechanisms that they are using now, the create eghteshAsh and say that he has to give up a region of the country, say kordestan, AzerbaijAn, or khuzestAn. What do you think he will say? He will say "yes sir". That is a huge red line for me.
Comments: I have always looked at 3 different factors to consider anyone for a public position. 1- Their personality, ethics and values 2- Who is financing the candidate 3- Who are the supporters of the candidate In the case of a leader for future of Iran, I’m not sure if I can tell the part 2. I have a decent idea about Pahlavi personality and his values. Lastly, I am getting a bad, bad feeling about people who are supporting him. Not all of them, of course but the loudest ones online are showing their true colors. Unwilling to accept anything that goes against their beliefs. Trash anyone who doesn’t agree with them. It reminds me of the MAGA crowd. I had a long conversation with a dear old friend. I known him for 45 years or so. He has been in US for about 5-6 years. He is a big Trump fan for reasons beyond me. He was talking about Trump as a savior. Coming up with excuses for anything he has done or is doing now. When I asked him about him saying “help is on the way, he got mad at me! He blamed it on the media and other stuff! He believes that Trump will follow through with his military plan and IRI will be gone by Nowruz.

Comments: Unfortunately for Iran and Iranians, the future of Iran is out of their hands. It doesn’t matter who the leader is or will be. The future is determined by others. It isn’t due to the lack of will or desire but rather the way the world works. It doesn’t matter if they want Pahlavi or anyone else. The final decision is made between the powers of the world. As of now and based on the movements around the globe, a free, united, powerful Iran is not in the picture. IRI is and always been part of the plan. I’m so sorry for the youth of Iran who lost their lives thinking anyone outside is willing to sacrifice anything for them.

Comments: The timing of this blockade is genius. It is a stare down, saying, if u mean it, do something about it. Now Trump is forced an impossible choice: a) military attack with the knowledge that the Russians and the Chinese are willing to get engaged, b) negotiate but now without any cards in his hand. After this, the military option is off the table. Expect Iran to be unwilling to give up nothing. Like I said time to teach the author of "Art of a Deal" how to call a bluff. In the middle of this, sadly, and irrelevantly, lies all the hopes and aspirations of a nation. A tribute to the self proclaimed leaders who brought us here.
