Iran needs a win. A tie might be good enough but we need a win.
USA is not a bad team. They defend well. Not the best at scoring but we can’t let our guard down. I’m hoping Azmoun is healthy enough to play at least 1/2 of the game. We really need to be careful not to get scored on early.

Yes Faramarz. There is a "tab" at the bottom of the spreadsheet after Day-13 called "Scores". and if you scroll to the right, in the middle of the sheet, you will see the table at the bottom.

I put it there as a tally of how the Asian teams fare in this World Cup.

The analysis below is correct, regarding various scenarios for IRAN to advance. It is very simple though; our faith is in our own hands. If we beat USA, we will advance.

If we tie against them, we can still advance, unless Wales beats England. In that case both England and Wales will advance. Can someone say "Gavbandi"? lol

I know you are joking, but I have not seen Faramarz make even one mistake yet :))  He is the kind of a person that when he does, he will be the first one telling everyone; plus, he will make sure he never makes that same mistake again.
