Comments: Yeah, they are all hype. Meaningless BS. The worst was supposed to be over for us 1-2. I will check again.
Comments: Faramarz, News outlets are disappointed!!! Keep trying to make it bigger than it is. Tropical storm is nothing. Most of the country have them multiple times a year. Is the worst over?
Comments: Zinsky, so far bupkis as far as Hillary is concerned. Just some rain and no wind! We had harder rain than this in the November February period!

Comments: Well, you guys did a great job analyzing the game. Spain was great from get go and got better each game. England was a good team but not compared to Spain
Comments: What was new to me is that the three back system is supposed to be more conservative but in this team the two sides of the three back (#2 and #19) were practically midfielders and some times ahead of forward. They seamlessly covered the holes when they went forward. This is where that cohesiveness that you are talking about was most apparent. Very nicely done!
Comments: Hamvatan, Spain's keeper was also solid. Especially on crosses. Very sure hands. I agree, an incredibly cohesive team. A pleasure to watch, I have to say. did not expect this from women's game. The rest have a long way to go. But this is what women's game needs to attract viewers and higher pay.
Comments: Farzad Badpa gets a medal.
Comments: Hamvatan, that is a good comparison. so impressed by her. She has a ton of stamina too. Together with #2 and #19, they dominated the midfield.
Comments: #6, #2, and #19. This is the order I place the best players on the field. All Spain and two from defense. England really had nothing to say. Spain was much stronger.
Comments: Faramarz, #6 is a great player. Pep Guardiola compared her with Iniesta. She has the vision, the shot and excellent through passes. One of the major characteristics of this team is that as soon as they lose the ball the press up high and get the ball back in seconds. They don't the other team breeze and the only way to disrupt their flow is to foul them. It is just amazing how cohesive they are. It seems like it is in their DNA. There are a lot of Barca players in ENG, SWE and I think the Japan team but not the whole team is capable of performing like Spain. On the men's side Spain has a new crop of player that are going to reclaim supremacy the same as Iniesta/Xavi era. This system (started by Johan Cruyff) has been perfected and taken over most of Spanish clubs style of play and has crept into the women's side.
Comments: #18 has a lot of potential but did not do well today. Missed a bunch of easy shots.
Comments: Wait, Spain missed a PK too? They should not have had #10 take it. If anyone, she is underperforming, compared to the rest! Now I see why you guys said the english keeper has a long tongue.
