Comments: I am not questioning if Iranian people want him or not. I really don’t know. My question is if US/Trump want him. They wouldn’t want a strong leader. They need someone who can be controlled and trusted. I assume Pahlavi is willing to do anything to get back home and be someone. If Trump doesn’t want him as a leader, it must be something I’m missing… Let’s not get fooled by this and that we see online. US is only looking for the interest of US/Trump. Last thing they want is a leader/system that challenges them in any way possible.

Just like Muhammad Reza and Reza shah were different from one another like day and night, RPG is also very different than both his father and grandfather. As I said he is too liberal and too soft. A nice guy and that's about it. That is why majority of iran support him. Just because he is modern and he is a nice guy and in reality he is. But he cannot be a leader of Iran even during transition. Post Islamic Republic is very much like post Qajar. The country will need to see انقلاب فرهنگی، انقلاب سیاسی، انقلاب اجتماعی و انقلاب اقتصادی He is not made to do this. The country need someone much stronger. And just like you I cannot think of anybody else, except maybe a high military rank doing a coup. رضا پهلوی این کاره نیست Also America a symbol of "so called" democracy will not install a Monarch and has not installed one since August 1953. So after the he US attack there will be a surrender and just like Venezuela for now Rouhani will guardian the nation and will do lots of compromise with USA. He may even invite RPG back to Iran. Why Rouhani? Interestingly Rouhani is the only high ranking Iranian that even when Trump sanctioned his foreign minister Zarif in 2018, Rouhani himself was not sanctioned.

Comments: Faramarz, This was the monster storm! Over 2 feet of snow. Plows are on overdrive but can’t catch up. It stopped snowing so hopefully they will clear the roads. My driveway is a mess! The guy who does the gardening during the summer is the plow person for the winter. He is ignoring my calls since late yesterday. I got nowhere to go and plenty of food. Just cozying with the fireplace, good music and watching the beautiful white backyard.
