I just learned that Xi Jinping left his not book on the table and trump took it and started flipping through it. I am sure that it was a trap to test Trump's convictions and he failed. Unbelievable. They are discussing that in this video. There rae some commercials built into the video but you can fast forward.

The world is coming undone. Possibility of Russia using Nukes against Europe, if the upcoming offensive does not work. Minute 45 of the video. Shocking to me how the world is now using the nukes threat all the time. This shit is going to go out of control!

The rest of the video before that is about Iran and the news is very grim.

Looks like Saudi Arabia, Q8, and to some extent Qatar are close to reaching an agreement with Iran, Russia, and China. I suspect something big like an alliance pact will be announced as soon as the war is done.

Putin's visit to Beijing this Tuesday will be important, unlike the Trump visit.

My only worry is the maniacs on the other side. Sources say that Trump wanted to use Nukes weeks ago but was forced to change his mind by people around him.

Unfortunately, unless Trump can manage to control YAboo (I give this a 5-10% chance), we are looking at a significant risk of Israel using them. If the USA pulls out in a way where fighting continues, Israel will rapidly lose this war. It is alreay being handed its ass in Lebanon by the "destroyed" Hezbollah. With most of its spies in Iran ("What RPG called Guard e jAvidAn") already arrested, it will have less and less information where and what to hit. So, the war will start going very badly for them. Then it is likely that they will use Nukes. In the end, they will lose the war anyway and may not even have a country after that but not before killing millions in Iran.

Zinsky jAn, you are not alone. We have been discussing this etensively as well. Unfortunately, we do not have the EU option. You were smart to start that process. EU, including Portugal, have tightened their rules facing the flood of people from USA and those who would have in the past gone to USA from other countries.

About the younger generation, I really feel bad because they are the generation that grew up in a superpower but when they become part of the workforce, they will realize it no longer is and has to dance to another superpower's tune. What this means for the American economy, I feel the worst. The days of petro $ was numbered but the stupid stain accelerated it. BRICS is going to kill it very fast with Iran insisting in Yuan as the denomination for Persian Gulf Oil.

The only bright point here is a slight hope that this will end up increasing the revenue for Iran. While a lot of this will go to groups that Iran maintains outside, some will make it into the internal economy and expand the middle class. Perhaps what the economists were predicting for JCPOA (expansion of the middle class after 10 years and significant internal forces for liberalization of the government) will happen after a few years. Then you might find Iran as a livable place.

Faramarz,
I’m pulling the trigger on the move out of US in coming months. Unfortunately, for now, Iran is not an option but I’m sure it will be sooner rather than later. U.S. is no longer the place to live for me. For now, I’ll be living in EU most of my time until Iran’s situation improves. I truly feel bad for the younger generations. I’m not sure how they will build their lives here.

Iran has enough missile capability to continue fighting should Donald Trump choose to resume the war, US and Nato intelligence has assessed - and experts say it has several more cards up its sleeve.
The US president has repeatedly claimed that American forces have comprehensively destroyed Iran’s military, including its missile capabilities and navy, during six weeks of conflict before a ceasefire was agreed.
Intelligence agencies have warned that Iran still has access to most of its missiles and underground facilities, sources told The Independent, casting doubt over President Trump’s dubious claims that Iran has been “decimated” by the war.
Experts say Iran retains numerous options for escalation.
“Tehran’s strength lies in its asymmetric capabilities: ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, drones, naval mines, cyber operations, and proxy groups,” said Frank A Rose, the former assistant secretary of state for arms control under the Obama administration.

My friends, it is official

This trip officially established China as the dominant power in the world. They threatened, drew red lines, and defined the global geopolitical context. All USA did was to say yes sir. Can you please spare us some change? We need our businesses to run!!! WTF

It was clear that China does not need USA. They sell to the whole world. Europe and Canada, long time USA allies are moving toward China now looking for partnerships. But USA needs China, if it wants to remain an economic superpower. Its military power which it used to call countries into obedience is no longer respected with its sever limitations exposed.

I knew the train was headed this way but did not realize it would come so soon.

President Donald Trump said he rejected Iran’s latest proposal because it did not provide sufficient guarantees that Iran would remain non-nuclear, insisting “20 years” would only be acceptable if it were real and enforceable.
Trump said he and Chinese President Xi Jinping largely agreed Iran must not have a nuclear weapon and that the Strait of Hormuz should be reopened, while adding that the U.S. does not need any favors.
Representatives from Israel and Lebanon are meeting in Washington on Friday for negotiations aimed at resolving their conflict. Hezbollah, a terrorist organization, is backed by Iran and has exchanged fire with Israel in recent weeks.
U.S. Central Command said Friday that 75 commercial ships have been redirected as part of the military’s ongoing blockade of Iranian ports.
U.S. Central Command commander Adm. Brad Cooper said Thursday that Operation Epic Fury has “cut off” Iran’s support to terrorist groups in the region.
