I did see the translation version of the letter but it seems it has been removed.
This page previously displayed a document containing, in translation, the full text of Osama bin Laden’s “letter to the American people”, which was reported on in the Observer on Sunday 24 November 2002. The document, which was published here on the same day, was removed on 15 November 2023.
The transcript published on our website had been widely shared on social media without the full context. Therefore we decided to take it down and direct readers instead to the news article that originally contextualised it.

It's interesting how the education in this country has changed and kids are becoming "different"!

Kids these days don't learn much in high school and only few who make it to top universities with a degree worth having come out with so much student loan that will hunt them for the rest of their lives. 

Every year there are reports that kids with high school degree are basically illiterate. With AI, they don't even need to learn to read/write. Math/Science is almost nonexistence. 

With all that said, the war in Gaza has shown that most young people are against Israel & the government controlling it. They also are sick of American support for Israel.

Now, there are many who think schools and universities are brainwashing the kids to be anti-American! 

I don't know what to say. Kids these days are getting information from various sources. They are not listening to the teachers, parents or the news channels. Is it good or bad is open for discussion but they are brainwashed in different way than before (We don't need no education)!

Few days ago, someone published the letter written by Osama Ben Laden to America/Americans. Interesting enough, it became the major search in Google and many, many younger American's started to share it with comments saying that they agree with his views. 

All the establishment guys are having a cow! They can't believe anyone could agree with this crazy guy. He killed over 3,000 Americans. Anyone who orders to kill few thousand civilians should be considered a crazy man/woman and should be killed forcefully by special forces!!!

Now! After my intentional sarcastic comment about mad men, let me say that that guy's letter had many logical and interesting ideas. Let me be clear, having valid ideas doesn't mean one can go out and kill people to make their point. Most of these mad men doing this because they feel it's their god given duty and responsivity. 

Many people with semi-valid ideas write books, articles, go on TV or do whatever they can to make their point heard. They don't rely on violence, that is the role of governments around the world!!![confused][crazy]

اگر با من بود, به تمام رقابتهای آسیایی تیمهای جوانان را میفرستادم. ما جوانان را آماده نمیکنیم تا در سنهای بالا خود رشدی در بعضی بازیکنان پدید بیاد. تمام ستارگان فوتبال ما اتفاقی هستند نه برنامه ریزی شده.

در ان زمان همانطور که مملکت را ادا نمیکنند, تیم ملی را هم اداره نکردند تا بسیار در شده بود. کروش فقط دو ماه وقت آماده سازی برای جام جهانی داشت و بازیکن جدید به تیم نیاورد. بهانه قله نوعی چیست؟

سرمربی تیم ملی هنوز به بزرگترین سوال منتقدان جواب نداده است.

ایمان گودرزی؛ تیم ملی ایران همراه با هدایت کارلوس کی روش با میانگین سنی ۲۸.۹ پیرترین تیم رقابت های جام جهانی ۲۰۲۲ قطر بود. از زمان جدایی کی روش و معرفی امیر قلعه‌نویی به‌عنوان سرمربی جدید تیم ملی، امیر قلعه نویی در اکثر مصاحبه هایی که داشت صحبت از جوانگرایی در تیم ملی کرده بود. او به دفعات تکرار کرده که «متأسفانه ایران در جام‌جهانی قطر صاحب پیرترین تیم بود و این رویه باید درست شود.» خب از کسی که این همه بر یک موضع پافشاری می‌کند، انتظار می‌رود در عمل هم شروع به جوان‌سازی مجموعه بازیکنان کند اما اتفاقی که در تیم امیر رخ داده، دقیقا و به وضوح برعکس بوده است و تا این لحظه تغییر محسوسی در میانگین سنی تیم ملی شاهد نبوده‌ایم!

 

لیست های اولیه

شاید باورکردنی نباشد اما حقیقت آن است که فهرست ۲۵نفره تیم ملی برای ۲بازی دوستانه در برابر بلغارستان و آنگولا، که اولین لیست قلعه نویی پس از بازگشت به تیم ملی به حساب می‌آمد از نظر میانگین سنی تقریبا یک سال مسن‌تر از تیمی است که کارلوس کی‌روش به جام‌جهانی ۲۰۲۲برد! ایران با ثبت میانگین سنی ۲۸.۹در قطر، پیرترین تیم مسابقات لقب گرفت و انتقادات فراوانی را تحمل کرد. حالا اما میانگین تیمی که امیر برای ۲بازی دوستانه ساده گرد هم جمع کرده، ۲۹.۵۶سال است! او ابتدا فهرست ۲۴نفره‌ای اعلام کرد که به اندازه کافی مسن بود اما انگار این میزان از سالمندی هنوز قلعه‌نویی را راضی نمی‌کرد. در نتیجه او بعد از برگزاری مسابقه معوقه استقلال خوزستان و تراکتور، شجاع خلیل‌زاده ۳۴ساله را هم به اردو دعوت کرد تا میانگین سنی بازیکنانش به ۳۰سال نزدیک‌تر شود!

کافا؛ باز هم پیرترین تیم

تیم ملی کشورمان که در جام‌جهانی۲۰۲۲ پیرترین تیم تورنمنت بود، در کافا هم توانست همین عنوان را از آن خود کند؛ فقط با این تفاوت که تیم ملی در این بازی‌ها با میانگین سنی ۹/ ۲۷ حاضر شده است. نکته عجیب این بود که این تورنمنت به نوعی یک تورنمنت دوستانه به حساب می‌آمد، قلعه نویی باز هم قصد جوان سازی تیمش را نداشت و راهی برای جوانان به تیم ملی باز نکرد و باز هم شاهد دیدن بازیکنانی مثل احسان حاج‌صفی، وحید امیری و... در لیست تیم بودیم.

 

اردن بدتر از قبل

امیر قلعه نویی در تورنمنت چهارجانبه اردن از ۲۳ بازیکن برای حضور در مسابقات دعوت کرده میانگین این لیست ۲۹/۱ بود که با مقایسه با لیست های قبلی به راحتی متوجه می‌شویم باز هم خبری از جوان سازی در تیم امیر قلعه نویی وجود نداشت.

جوان سازی نامحسوس

در آخرین فیفا دی، امیر قلعه نویی سرمربی تیم ملی فوتبال ایران، ۳۰ نفر را در لیست نفرات دعوت شده برای برگزاری دو دیدار برابر «هنگ کنگ» و «ازبکستان» را اعلام کرد. در این لیست با وجود حضور بازیکنان جوانی مثل سعید سحرخیزان و محمد قربانی و آریا یوسفی به لطف حضور مهدی ترابی، علی کریمی، مجید حسینی، رضا اسدی و امید ابراهیمی موجب شد این لیست از لحاظ میانگین سنی با لیست های قبلی تفاوت زیادی نداشته باشد و میانگین سنی به ۲۸/۳ سال برسد.

 

با یک جمع بندی ساده متوجه می‌شویم که امیر قلعه نویی تا این لحظه هنوز به قول و شعاری که در ابتدای راهش می‌داد عمل نکرده و معلوم نیست چه زمانی جوانان فوتبال ایران فرصت بیشتری برای محک خوردن پیدا خواهد کرد.

I watched the full game also. I saw many problems but two were bigger than others. One was that the team is disorganized and is only scoring by the skill of the players. I think GN has also destroyed the defense of CQ. The same players are there but the scheme is gone and with it the defense. Uzbekistan is one of the weakest teams in the group and was able to score two against us. When was the last time this happened? The other problem is the lack of familiarity with the team's strengths and weaknesses. GN thinks that defense is easy. You just pile up players in defense and kill time. But there is a strategy for this which he does not have. He should not tell his team to waste time against Uzbekistan. Even the weakest team in the group can score on this defense.

Very disappointing.

One last comment. Somehow we need to learn to play professionally. All this yelling at the ref and acting up on every call is just stupid for a bunch of players who have been playing for years and years. Grow up and focus on the game!

Both games ended up being a mind game near the end. In both games, Iran seemed out of it before the game was over.
U17 was doing well but the 94th minute goal just threw them off. They missed 3 penalties!!!
TM was in full control (I actually watched the game). They were doing great until the mistake and the goal. After the goal (2-1), they just gave up and were trying to kill time and end the game. I really don’t understand why! Uzbekistan was not a strong team but ran the whole game and really wanted to win. The last 15-20 minutes looked like we were playing Brazil or Germany. We were just kicking the ball away!!!

Sad day indeed, Zinsky.

I expected our U-17 team to not do well today, but for a moment I thought we may actually go through/ Nevertheless, Morocco is a very good team as I stated earlier. This was still a good showing for our young boys and I expect them will do better in the future.

As for the TM, the good news is that there are many more games to come, and all this is really for preparation. This is a kind of result that CQ would take full advantage of to make our team better for the remaining games. Whether the current coach has that capability remains to be seen.
