GN is correct in rotating so many players in his team. TM's next match is on Tuesday. I am not in favor of resting players, go with the best line up. He should find his 'ideal' line up for the 3rd match and have them a preparation game before the knockout stage.

2nd match day in the AC has not been nice to the 'favorites' so far. Australia and Iran barely won, Japan lost and Korea managed only a draw. Saudi should win tomorrow but you never know!

It looks like Korea averted another upset of the tournament. Based on the highlights below, Jordan had a chance to seal the victory, but lack of experience prevented it. Korea, as always 100% determined, never gave up and scored a tie. Regardless, both Korea and Japan in their disappointing 2nd game still look the strongest two sides at this Asian Cup.

The passing when under pressure was very odd in some situations. There was a long pass back from the midfield to Beiro with a lot of opponent's players in between. Beiro had to head the ball away, not being allowed to use hands on a pass back! I had not seen anything like that for over a decade. It may have to do with lack of defensive organization. Players are the same but the organization that CQ had is gone. We will not get all the chances that we had today. And, if we gift them opportunities like we did today, against any of Japan, Korea, Australia, we will be done.

This team doesn’t well under pressure. The defense makes too many mistakes. Any decent team would have scored at least 2 goals against us today. On the other hand, our offense should have scored 4-5 goals easily. We missed too many chances.
Against better teams like Japan and Korea we can’t “hope” for them to miss.
