Comments: You don't have to be a rocket scientist to realize the hit in Erbil must have been particularly painful for the anti-Iranian factions and Israel in particular. Their intelligence HQ in Kurdistan was destroyed, they have to start from scratch! The Apartheid regime has been hitting Syria off and on but only around the military installations and very rarely it has killed Iranians. This time they hit a house in a residential area, so this was a direct terrorist assassination because Iran just did it to them last week. You must be very naive to think Iran has not been hitting their enemies. The point is unlike Iran that announces their losses the other side rarely admits any losses due to Iranian attacks because of strict censorship. And Iran has hit Israel inside Palestine directly but they will never going to admit it publicly for obvious reasons.
Comments: Certainly I hope so. After 44 years, anyone can see how the IRI is playing the game with West and East. They only care to survive and know exactly how to give and take when needed. Lots of yelling and screaming but behind the scenes, they never go too far. Same goes with Israel and America. They had multiple chances to attack Iran if they wanted but only go after few people.
Comments: Rashti always has a talent in spelling out the truth without any inhibition. :) Zinsky jAn, same here. But when I actually took note of all the quiet people, their numbers were much higher. Those r the more intelligent and less easily manipulated group of our hamvatans. Recently though, especially after having seen the Trump shit show, only the truly naive or malicious group remain under the impression that voting one way or another actually matters for Iran. This group is small, real, and also as we have seen even on this page, loud and without a moral compass. So, the iranian community, even in SoCal is slowly waking up, IMO, with the exception of the few that I mentioned.
Comments: Iran usually alternates playing good and bad in these tournaments. we are sometimes "Good", Bad", and "Good" again, which means 6 points and advancement. Sometimes, we are "Bad", "Good" and "Bad", which means only 3 points and elimination (case in point, last World Cup). In this tournament, we played so far Good and Bad, but still have 6 points (very lucky!). Our 3rd game should be Good and our team should step up against UAE. I expect a good game on Tuesday and a win for us; a 2-1 win, and perhaps even 3-1.
Comments: رشتی You hit the nail on the head
Comments: Faramarz, Things might have changed recently but when I was living in SoCal, many, many friends were voting for Bush II and later for Trump just because they thought by doing so, IRI would be gone and they could go back and live a great life.
Comments: Zinsky jAn, I think majority of Iranian are onto this scheme. It is just a few naive or malicious shahollahi lost souls. Sadly the few are very vocal making all of us as a community look pretty ignorant.
Comments: lol that save was one of the few freak back passes that we had! Last I remember anything like this was during Iran-Japan qualifying game when OstAd asadi scored a diving header on AbedzAdeh. Fortunately, ref called it offside! We lost that game 3-2 anyway, despite some Ali Daei heroics.
Comments: And the worst part is that America has made Iranians living here believe (some but not all) that by voting for one guy vs another, IRI will be removed. They have been doing it to Cubans for 50+ years. Nothing has changed in Cuba and unfortunately, it’s the same shit about IRI. They will remove them when they decide. Right now, IRI is needed in Middle East.
Comments: The funniest part is the IRI doesn’t actually kill any Americans or Israelis. They have bomb the shit out of areas in Iraq but no American casualties! Even if you try, it’s difficult to do it.

Comments: Iran launches satellite that is part of a Western-criticized program as regional tensions spike
Comments: It’s only a game. They don’t care. Neither side actually want a direct war.
Comments: It's clear now that Iran hit the right target and destroyed the Israeli intelligence HQ in Erbil last week despite all the denials. Today's assassination of Iranian personnel in Syria is proof positive that the pain was very very extreme for the Apartheid regime.
Comments: Once again one country attacking another country to kill some other country’s citizens! Israel has been killing people around the world for many years. Iran started doing it as well. Not as good though… People always ask why Israel doesn’t attack Iran directly. That is a good question. They have sleeper cells inside to kill scientists but we haven’t seen a missile attack in Iran! “Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says five of its “military advisers” have been killed in an Israeli air raid on a residential building in Syria’s capital, Damascus. Syrian state media SANA said the attack on Saturday took place in the Mazzeh neighbourhood. It said “Israeli aggression” targeted the building. Iran also blamed Israel for the attack, saying it “reserves the right to respond”.”
