Comments: I said news, western, eastern, northern, southern and anywhere in between. News is no longer associated with facts. There are basic facts and then there are millions of opinions and theories. I still read them but hardly ever believe them.
Comments: I remember these PAN AM planes landing in Mehrabad. Why did PAN AM go under? Does anyone know? I miss this airline.
Comments: On Branki, I never liked him. His teams fail as soon as things become do or die. When he was at TM helm, it was the same way as Oman is now. The other thing about his teams is that they usually do not have a plan to attack. It is more of a hardambil kind of an attack. But his team does play okay defense.
Comments: Shahryar jAn, welcome back to what really matters. :) I think you should predict like the rest of us. We ca keep a separate score for the knockout stage.
Comments: I just finished three weeks of hell, and have finally some time off, Yay :) First of all, Great job by Zinsky and Faramarz on the prediction board. Now, I wish I had participated. As far as the knockout stage goes, I think there are still an upset or two waiting to happen. Korea and Arabia didn't look too impressive during the group stage games, but maybe they saved it for this round; we will see. But I think one of them may fail to advance, or even both of them. As for Iran, they got a tough match against Syria. We seem to always prevail against them, but cannot take them lightly. I mentioned in one of my posts a few days ago that they are a very good team, and still think they can pose a considerable threat to our team. Having said that, I think we will still make it to the final four, but it will be extremely tough.
Comments: Latest prediction scores after the group stage. Thanks to Zinsky.
Comments: Here is mine:
Comments: Muscat: Oman Football Association (OFA) axed national team head coach Branko Ivankovic of Croatia after the team crashed out of the AFC Asian Cup in Doha on Thursday. Oman Football Association (OFA), in a tweet, confirmed that they have parted ways with the Croat coach. OFA media manager Younish Al Ghafri confirmed to Times of Oman the development that took place soon after Oman crashed out of the AFC Asian Cup following their 1-1 draw against Kyrgyz Republic. Oman began their Group F campaign with a 2-1 defeat to Saudi Arabia and followed it with a goalless draw against Thailand. On Thursday, Oman drew Kyrgyzstan 1-1 as both the teams made a tame exit from the tournament.

Comments: Agha Zinsky that is a tall order. So western sources are only to be believed selectively when it fits agenda? I went through few pages and you are the only one that tags news from western sources. So you post what you believe not be factual or was it that particular item you wanted to be facts? That is an equation for goozpeech to solve. Are we to expect that you won’t post any news from western sources? Then perhaps only IRI , Russian or Chinese sources?

Comments: God I wish people would mind their own business. Let people be. The more they dig in, the more shit will come out. We can’t change people. They can’t change us. Let go. Live and let live.
Comments: Unfortunately, the news has nothing to do with facts. That has nothing to do with news about Iran or anywhere else. There is always an agenda. I personally stopped believing in anything broadcasts as news. The bombing in Iran is full of Bullshit. Other than the fact that there was a bombing and people died, all other news and rumors are made up.
Comments: In general the 'Western" media "news" about Iran is made of 69% lies, 30% propaganda and 1% truth.
Comments: They have been working with each other from get go. Very few surprises.
Comments: The real discussion here should be why the regime continued with the festivities while did not let Soleinmanis family attend. But then again that would be asking too much
Comments: Zinsky in many cases countries inform each other. I don’t think it is a direct contact. Like USA tells China to tell Iran or they tell Iraq to tell Iran. Sometime Israel told Iran when they wanted to attack in Syria or something.
