Comments: Iranian state news agencies reported student demonstrations at five universities in the capital and one in the city of Mashhad over the weekend, with fresh protests also reported Monday. Large crowds rallied outside the Amir Kabir University of Technology in Tehran, according to video geolocated by NBC News that circulated on social media Sunday. The video does not appear to have circulated before Sunday but NBC News has not been able to pinpoint when exactly it was taken. They are the first known protests to have erupted since the anti-government unrest that swept the country last month and saw thousands of people killed in a brutal crackdown, according to rights groups.
Comments: "And yet people like Reza Pahlavi still continue to lick Washington’s boot until it shines, knowing they will be nothing but Washington’s errand boy after regime change."

Comments: I have always believed that when we have to make a choice, it’s never about good or bad. Ok, maybe sometimes it is but mainly it’s about bad and worse. It’s hardly ever about chelokabab vs dog shit. Mostly it’s a choice between dog shit and cat shit!!! When it comes to the future of Iran, the current regime is not acceptable anymore, if it was ever acceptable. Change is needed. What are the choices now? That is the question. I would like to think that Iranians are the only people who can make that decision.
Comments: No other option, unfortunately!
Comments: Agha Zinsky wouldn't this: "I’m afraid that people and whomever they choose to lead them are a small factor in the future of Iran." make this meaningless:
Comments: Iranian students clash with pro-government groups at defiant protests A video showed rows of marchers at Tehran's Sharif University of Technology condemning Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as a "murderous leader." The protests coincided with ceremonies traditionally held after 40 days to mourn those killed by security forces during last month's anti-government demonstrations, which saw thousands lose their lives in the worst domestic unrest since Iran's 1979 Islamic Revolution. A video purportedly showed rows of marchers at Tehran's Sharif University of Technology condemning Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as a "murderous leader", and calling for Reza Pahlavi, the exiled son of Iran's toppled shah, to be a new monarch. State-affiliated news agencies such as SNN carried videos of clashes, with protesters allegedly injuring volunteer student Basij militia by throwing rocks at Iran's top engineering university. Pro-government Basij members often assist security forces in quelling protests. Protests were also held in Beheshti and Amir Kabir universities in the capital Tehran and Mashhad University in the northeast, according to videos published by rights group HAALVSH, which Reuters could not verify. In the western town of Abdanan, a hotspot for protests, demonstrators chanted "Death to Khamenei" and "Death to the dictator" after the arrest of an activist teacher, according to rights group Hengaw and social media posts.
Comments: Student protests have erupted at multiple universities in Iran as the standoff continues between the nation and US. On Saturday, US envoy Steve Witkoff said that President Donald Trump is questioning why Iran has not "capitulated" in the face of Washington's military build-up aimed at pressuring them into a nuclear deal. Witkoff's comments come after Trump, on Thursday, 19 February – had said that Iran had at most 15 days to make a deal on concerns starting with its nuclear programme. Earlier, Trump issued an ultimatum that the US needs to “make a meaningful deal” with Iran, and emphasised that the coming 10 days will be crucial in determining whether an agreement is reached. He described Iran as a “hot spot" at the moment, despite ongoing "good talks" between officials from both sides. Additionally, Trump mentioned that his son-in-law Jared Kushner will serve as an “envoy of peace.”
Comments: This is the problem. Most of us are worried about what might be the day after revolution. We should of course be concerned. We had a revolution that seemed pretty popular at the time. People wanted a change and got one, a big one. That didn’t turn out as expected. With all that said, I’m worried it has nothing to do with RP or anyone else. People are desperately looking for something different. They don’t want this regime. I can’t make an accurate count of what percentage of people but it is majority for sure. Change is not easy, specially for a country like ours with so much resources and so many vultures waiting to take advantage of the opportunity! Internal and external factors are going to fight each other. I’m afraid that people and whomever they choose to lead them are a small factor in the future of Iran. CHANGE IS NEEDED. This regime has lost any credibility whatsoever. We have to trust the people to make the best decisions possible under the worst conditions…
Comments: Doesn't he look like khosh tip e Faramarz?
