Comments: Scope of Iranian attacks on Arab neighbours continues to growIt seems the scope of these attacks continues to expand, continues to grow, and there is a consistency when it comes to Bahrain over the last few days and the last week or so. But Jordan coming into the mix certainly does signal some kind of expansion of Iran’s scope of attack. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said it attacked the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain once again. They also said there were attacks in Kuwait – Kuwait’s army said that air defences were intercepting incoming projectiles from Iran. But in Jordan, critically, they say they targeted four specific targets at the Al Azraq airbase, including hangars and the command and control centres – hangars that included F-35 aircraft. So that is certainly a significant step up.

According to the report, this transfer was part of a diplomatic deal intended to have Iran halt its attacks on Israel and to secure a suspension of Israeli military operations in Lebanon.
