Comments: From the highlights it looked like Norway should have won the first game. FIFA did the same thing they did to Iran and Egypt. They dismissed their second goal because of a really soft foul that occurred away from the ball and had nothing to do with the play. Then a much stronger similar foul where the english player pushed a norwegian player who was about to head the ball into the goal from two feet out. No foul and the ref refused to call for VAR. MFers.
Comments: I am not watching the game. because I knew it would piss me off. But I do see that MFer ref gave a red card to the swiss. I bet you it was not deserved. Still 1-1 in minute 105.
Comments: VAR and the ref are trying very hard to give it to ARG again!

Comments: I did the math! If I predict every single game going forward with a tie and pick the winner perfectly and the top 3 players get everything wrong, I could finish 1st!!! Possibility? 0.00001%! Still doable…

Comments: With 5 games remaining, it will be tight!
Comments: "Faramarz, I told you. And it was easy too. :)

Comments: Faramarz, You might catch up to me for the race to bottom!
Comments: My only problem with GN was the player selection. Against Belgium and one red carded, I would have thought GN brings one or two younger/faster players with 3 subs remaining. He went for a tie! Also bringing few players who didn’t play at all. Those spots could have gone to some young players to get the WC experience.
Comments: It is now 1-1 Curse alert? Fans nervously recall England's July 11th losses in 2018 and 2021 as they face Norway on the same date.
Comments: England has had one shot on goal in the whole half and none on target. 😂
Comments: Norway up!!! 🙌
Comments: I didn't say I am coming aorund. I said I am having difficulty giving up GruhbAn Ghandali. Motivation was definitely there. Whether GG was behind this or you are being too kind to him is the question.
Comments: Things that make you go hmmmm?
Comments: So, the Qatari MFer put a $400M bill on our hands for upgrading the donated jet and still wasn't good enough. The expense continues as the jet is sitting in England getting inspected. Oh by the way, do you guys not find it odd that the President's jet is being inspected for safety by a foreign government, however an ally?
Comments: I am very excited about the Norwegian bacheh ghool vs Harry Kane match up today. The game is basically an all star EPL match ![]() Let's see what happens!
Comments: doktor I am glad you are coming around as it relates to GN. He did a good job with the players he had in hand. He got the boys very motivated, proof is that we came back 3 times from a goal down and didn't lose. So we did pretty good in attacking phase. Defending was average, we blanked BEL which no other team could. I think our main problem was not having solid DMs like we used it when CQ was in charge, Nekonam, Andranik, even an aging Omid Ebrahimi could have been useful
Comments: What a shit show New York Times reporters are subpoenaed after Air Force One stories, raising press freedom concernsWASHINGTON (AP) — The Department of Justice has subpoenaed New York Times journalists after they reported on security concerns involving the new, Qatari-gifted Air Force One, marking a dramatic escalation of President Donald Trump ’s campaign against the media that has drawn condemnation for eroding a fundamental freedom of American democracy. The new jet, a present from the U.S. ally that the administration spent $400 million on to retrofit and upgrade, entered service last week. But Trump used an older model Air Force One jet to leave a NATO summit in Turkey and later referenced threats against him made by Iran. The subpoenas seek to force the reporters to testify before a federal grand jury in Manhattan next week, the Times said, adding that federal agents delivered some subpoenas to the reporters at their homes. They were issued after FBI Director Kash Patel and other Justice Department officials met at the White House on Friday to talk about the matter, according to a person familiar with the discussions who was not authorized to discuss the issue publicly and spoke on the condition of anonymity. The journalists subpoenaed included Julian E. Barnes, Eric Lipton, Tyler Pager and Eric Schmitt, the Times reported. |
