Now in our circle of friends of about 40, mostly Iranians, who play together there are also three people who are from Iran and are avid Trump supporters. Now, these guys are very different. Here are the qualities that they share:

1. They believe that covid is real-a very scary disease
2. vaccine is effective and protects against the disease. I have to say that this belief isn't unlike what the american friend believes in that they do not have any scientific understanding of whether this is true or not. They just have not bothered to look into it. They just run with anything that might protect them.
3. They all deeply trust the american government. Republican or not, anything american government says must be true.
4. Have a deep sense of superiority over other foreigners but suffer from almost clinical sense of inferiority when they compare themselves with americans.
5. They disagree with almost everything that trump says, but are avid supporters because they believe that trump will undo IRI or that they can somehow can "fool" the americans to go against their interests and undo IRI because of the few iranians who support trump!
6. They are usually lazy and see everything from a chronic self-serving perspective - very poor citizens overall.
7. Also, they all believe that the only salvation for Iran is through RP.  And dismiss anyone else with or without merit.
8. Overall they suffer from low moral standards. All three went and falsified documents so that they get the covid vaccine out of order. One, a car salesman, got his first shot because he pretended to be a nurse.

Now imagine in a trump rally the two groups run into each other. They have nothing other than support from trump in common. One group is deathly afraid of the government/immigrants, etc. While the other although are immigrants themselves do not want other immigrants here and look at everything from a self serving and deceitful perspective. So, this can come to blows. But it never does for two simple reasons:

1. They r too lazy to go to a rally. Believe that others should do the work and they see the benefits
2. Deep inside they know that a big part of Trump base look at this group as the invading foreigners that they are trying to get rid of. An incident here would destroy their illusion of being part of the master race!
