Comments: I think we need new set of questions for Trump supporters who come from elsewhere. I know at least one a member of each group. I'll answer Shahryar's questions about my american trump supporter: 3) Are you uneducated (no college or less)? For California standards Yes. 5) Are you racist / bigot/ xenophobe? No-he has taken to the Persian culture better than many California Iranians. He cooks a better Ash shole ghalamkAr than anyone I know. The important thing about him though is that : 1. He has a strong sense of us against them (the government). He deeply believes that the government is out to get him. Everything that government does is evil and the "people" need to stand against it. Covid vaccine as a result was a horrible thing and is causing millions to die. You see how Trump starts appealing to him. 2. He believes that he is smarter than the government. By extension, this means that he is smarter than any expert who is connected or sides with government in any issue, including those of health and science. So, he shows up at county and city governance meetings, furiously object to a lot of health care decisions that they make and brings evidence like because the moon and the stars are aligned the way they were during the American revolution, they must be the the same evil that the american people fought back then. The thing is that even though he is an incredibly nice person as a person, and even though he is not dumb, he is primarily driven by this belief that government is evil. So, everything starts there. Then the rest is filled in to make that picture complete. If government says vaccine, the vaccine must be evil and the science behind it must be a lie. If government says covid, covid must be a lie, and so, at the height of the pandemic he went to a trump rally without a mask fully believing trump that covid was a democrats manufactured lie. Avoiding all these issues, I famously get along with him because otherwise he is a great person, very honest, extremely hard working, both on and off the soccer field. Our last soccer outing, he made koobideh for all of us! Before every game, he shows up an hour early with a shovel and fill in the holes that the gofers dig. This is a pick up game and he is not part of the management team of the group. He is just a great citizen.

Comments: The saddest and most surprising thing is that some Iranians living here actually believe he cares for them or Iran! They believe he will help them get Iran back! How stupid those people are?
Comments: Shahryar, Trump saw how sad the situation in south and mid America was and used it to gain power and of course money. He used people’s anger, frustration and discuss to make them believe he can help them. Unfortunately, Americans are not very good at seeing him as he is.
Comments: In order to understand trump followers, we should stay away from labels such as "Republicans" and "Democrats", etc. Those labels do not tell us what we need to know. What we have to know is which group of people will vote for him. Here is my assessment that I have developed during the past few years. Basically, I ask five questions, with a YES or a NO answer. Depending on how many YES answers one gives, it tells us what the chances are that they are trump followers. Here are the five questions: 1) Are you White Male? 2) Are you very religious? 3) Are you uneducated (no college or less)? 4) Is your IQ double-digit or less? 5) Are you racist / bigot/ xenophobe? If you have a total of one YES (to any of the above questions); then there is 60% chance you are a trump follower and a voter. If you have two YES answers (again, to any two of the 5 questions), then there is an 80% chance you will vote for trump. If three YES answers, the possibility is 90%. Four YES answers will take you to 95% and finally 5 YES answers would mean that you are 100% trump voter and a follower. So, it doesn't matter what your political affiliation is or in which region of the country you live. It really has to do with what level of mentality you have and whether or not you are capable of "Critical Thinking". If the answer is NO, then you will probably vote for trump. Of course if you are really very smart, you understand that all these voting is just a ploy to make you think you matter at all, and in reality all are meaningless. These have been determined without the real votes are counted (remember Bush boy #2)?, lol.

Comments: Doostane aziz, We have to keep in mind that the people who support trump feel they are the only smart people in the country. They believe he is the man against the big government and he is on their side. They think he will take care of them. So, it doesn't matter what he has done or will do. He can sleep with every whore in the country and get spanked by all of them and pay them hush money, and they don't care. They think he is a righteous man and fights on their behalf. So, the approximate 30% of American people who think that no matter what, will vote for him, more than once if allowed.
Comments: The VB boys lost a very close match to BUL that they should have won, and the coach got fired for it. He has never been a head coach at this level and it showed in his game management. In too many sets Iran got ahead by 4-7 points and ended up losing the set, that's not good. Comments: I was back home when revolution happened. As you mentioned, majority of the people were not crazy about Shah but not revolutionary either. My family and friends were mostly quiet and didn’t get involved. It doesn’t take a majority to start and win a revolution. It takes a small group who are willing to fight and majority to watch them.
Comments: By the way, about the government back then and people surrounding Shah back then, there was no government. Shah was making all the big decisions. The Yes Men in the end betrayed him and the country.
Comments: Bakhtiyar was offering a great alternative which everyone was against. People of Iran should have been in favor but they split into two: the revolutionaries who were not interested, and the great majority who were too complacent and lazy to do anything about anything-just sat there and watched the whole thing go by. This last group is now most bitterly complaining about the change. And, some have become shahollAhis and are willing to kill everyone in the hope that the dead shah will once again emerge and resuscitate the old glory days.
