The inflation of 70% to 90% will kill your savings. When I was in Iran a year ago (1.5 years ago to be exact), I did a quick calculation. One would need $300k-$500k for a nice but not crazy luxury apartment in Tehran. A nice European car is about $70k (I would not buy one but …). After spending the money on those, one family can live on $2,000-$4,000/month in what would be considered luxury in U.S. simply put, if you have $1 million, you would spend about $500k-$600k for luxury apartment/car. The rest ($400k-&500k) could be kept in $ and each month exchange $3,000 for expenses including food, clothing, a full time housekeeper and even a part time driver (I would not dare to drive in Tehran anymore)! That is about 15 to 20 years if you don’t invest in anything and just take 2-4% interest (on $). With $2M, one can of course live there twice as long!

This is amazing. Where did the Iranians get this technology from? This in addition to maneuverability in its final trajectory makes them very hard to hit and them to miss! He says these missiles are much more accurate and powerful than the Russian Areshnik missiles. They carry a 1000 pound war head but the effective explosion because of the speed is equivalent to 5-6 thousand tons!! Check out the Shock wave on his slide 12. It is like a mini nuclear weapon. The slide is from when Iran was hitting Israel. He thinks IRGC has 100s or possibly thousands of these missiles.
