We were told that Iran is finished and there are not many places left to hit and then, About 2,500 Marines aboard as many as three warships are heading to the Middle East from the Indo-Pacific region! Are we getting ready for boots on the ground? That means at least 100,000 boots if they actually want to take over. In reality it could be 250,000 to fight them from Persian Gulf to Tehran. It could happen, of course, but then we will enter another long and bloody war with no end in sight! Comments: Reported casualties in Iran might be only civilians. The non civilian casualties could be much higher but we won’t know for sure. Thousands, tens of thousands might be the real number but that means nothing to the people who are supposed to come out and take the country back!!! A million unarmed people could not fight few hundred or few thousand sepah forces. Arming the people might be something US and Israel consider but that takes us back to Iraq and Syria or even Afghanistan situation where civil war will rage for years and the world is left with massive weapons in the wrong hands.
