Comments: As far as the US military campaign is concerned, Iran is being hit hardest in terms of devastation, damage from strikes and casualties. But as long as it can maintain its pressure campaign on the Strait of Hormuz, it undeniably has the upper hand in what has become the most important flashpoint of this war. The IRGC says that two oil tankers exploded after hitting a mine and are now on fire. This is very significant since those sea mines have been a major issue for the US. The Iranian statement also goes on to say sanctions will be doubled on shipping companies that don’t follow along with its procedures to cross the Strait of Hormuz. This is the pressure campaign Iran is placing on the Strait of Hormuz, on international shipping and on the international economy. And with the events that we’ve seen in the last 24 hours, this is likely what it is going to continue to look like.

Comments: Iran has played this war game very carefully and smartly. Maximum damage with minimum casualties to Americans. They have realized that the majority of the Americans are against this war. They don’t want to change that. Also, the 2 countries they are fighting have nuclear weapons. One massive casualty event and we could see a nuclear war. Unfortunately, if this drags on much longer, there is the possibility of one of these rockets hit a base or a military ship with thousands of soldiers and with that, give US and Israel the excuse to use nuclear weapons. As predicted, if that happens, Russia will nuke Ukraine and very quickly it could get out of hand. Millions will be killed and million more will be exposed to radiation. I hope for peace but I don’t have much hope.
