Comments: As expected and unfortunately, life for ordinary people in Iran has gone from bad to worse. Prices rising faster, crack down is more intense and basic freedoms that people fought for is taken away. The 12 day war only made the regime stronger and more dangerous.

Comments: Clearly the people are ahead of IRI on the war issue and are not in the mood for any compromise. Yesterday I mentioned 3 reasons for this support. Another reason I think was the way the IRI reported the news of the attacks. The IRIB was very direct and announced the attack without any delay. They also annonced the name of all the martyred military commanders and nuclear scientists immediately and very accuratley. The Israelis were claiming that Shamkhani was dead but IRIB never admitted this news and maintained that he was only injured. He showed up alive and did an interview a couple of dasy ago. I think the transparency and admission to the intitial defeat was a reassuring sign for the people, it meant the system is in charge and very confident about it's ability to respond to the enemy. And IRI delivered on their revenge promise within hours which made the people feel confident too.
