Greeting from Tehran.
Went to craziest 4 Shanbe Soori party last night. It was in an outdoor restaurant somewhere in Tehran. My family reserved the whole restaurant. About 30 people.
While fireworks were going on the street, loud music, alcohol and no dress code was the order of the night. It went on till 1:00 PM.
The fireworks are almost as loud as I ever heard. Thousands of young people were partying and dancing in the streets.
Everyone who knew we lived in US, were making fun of Trump saying Iranians can dance the night away even with the treat of war/sanctions.
Everyone complaining but partying as hard as they can.

This team also had Mirzapour as the keeper who just could not kick. Coach's instruction was for the players not to let him kick the ball during WC. 😂 He kicked it once against Mexico and passed the ball to Mexican forward who scored. 😂

Iran is of course a solid favorite

But the UAE team has imported a few more BRA players and will be desperate to get a result. So the game is not as easy as you might think.
