Comments: I always thought that the Mecca pact was formed to counter Iran. IMO it would be really stupid for Pakistan to get into a war over the Hoothies. This is not an invasion of Saudi Arabia. It is in response to them attacking Yemen. IMO if this is how they want to run that pact (i.e. not a defensive but rather offensive pact), it is time to burst that bubble. Egypt tried to put down the Hoothies and they lost 20K soldiers. Pakistan and Turkey have been suckered now into the same position. IMO when the two countries see how much shit is coming to SA, they will back out of the pact. They each have enough trouble of their own.

Comments: I said this couple of weeks ago. Iran is trying to do maximum damage with minimum casualties to US soldiers. They realize that a massive casualty in a single day or single week could push Trump to use nukes. This is a very unpopular war but dead soldiers in hundreds or thousands could even make American populations feel like US has to nuke Iran.
