Comments: I think everything RPG does, or does not do, is dictated. Just like what he said a few hours after Yaboo that people should revolt, his long periods of silence, tame and halfhearted reactions and leadership, is all dictated. I presume that part of it is the promise for a future reign. But I suspect that there is more. Provision of security to him, his family, his money, and estate in general. In many ways, he may be living the life of a hostage which would explain his persistent lack of interest in affairs of Iran when he does not have an order to do something.
Comments: This is so sad. Amazing how all other countries are sitting back and watching. In the mean time, my favorite is that Netanyahoo said today that there is no starvation strategy in Gaza, and that there is no starvation in Gaza.
Comments: 1/3 of all children in Gaza are either moderately or severely starved. Half of adults in Gaza are also severely starved. Two human rights organizations in Israel declared that Israel's strategy in Gaza qualifies as genocide according to the 1943 convention. This is because they systematically targeted the health care system and denied flow of food into the region. They concluded that the strategy is clearly targeting the whole population.
