Comments: A new IRGC strategy has emerged: IRGC hits container ships then those containers start floating on the water. They they announce there is material to salvage. hundreds of ships from all shores then rush in to haul the containers to the shore and sell the content in the black market. Just as a comparison, a container full of perfume is worth about $10M. So, on the black market it can probably go for $5M. Then IRGC small boats join in the salvage rush, doing reconnaissance, deploying mines, and also do some of the salvaging themselves. In this mess, it is hard for the US aircrafts to tease out who is IRGC and who is regular smuggler.
Comments: These bombs were used in Afghanistan without any results. They cannot be carried by a missile or a fighter jets. You need to have a C-130 or a Galaxy take it. It is also not guided and just goes straight down from where it is dropped. These two planes are damn slow (Galaxy is a tiny bit faster) and will have a hell of a time getting to their target from Iran's border. Most likely, they will get shutdown. So, if this happens, it will be against a major target like the pickax mountain and then call it a victory. And, if it happens, it will be with consultation with IRGC because otherwise the chances of this getting shutdown is very high.

The attacks have disrupted shipping through the strait, which is normally one of the busiest routes for exporting oil and other commodities from Gulf countries. Twenty-three attacks have been recorded since the start of October, almost double the average monthly number of incidents since the start of the war. "Gulf oil flows have been recovering, with traffic through Hormuz recently returning to around 80 percent of pre-war levels despite the conflict," Vanguard analyst Barun Gupta told AFP on Wednesday. "Increasing the tempo of attacks therefore gives Tehran a way of demonstrating that it can still disrupt that recovery and impose costs on commercial shipping and global energy markets," Gupta continued.

Comments: We go round and round. All of this has happened before with no results. Six different countries have sent troops to Yemen in the past. Israel's direct involvement will render it even weaker. They are bombing some four different countries, currently, while prepping for Iran war! Their conventional army will get exhausted very soon. They are already halfway there. Against Iran they will probably use nukes, but what if Iran does not enter? What are they going to do? Use nukes against the Syrians, Houthis, Lebanon, and Gaza? International pressure would crush them, if they did that.
