The director of Physicians for Human Rights–Israel confirmed that Dr. Adnan al-Bursh from Gaza was killed under torture in Israeli custody. He is one of hundreds of doctors, nurses & paramedics killed and among the many medical staff detained.

NPR reporting this morning: A hospital was bombed today killing at least 14 including AP and Reuters reporters. Israel also is starting to level building in Gaza to cover the unaccounted bodies.

The PHD lady is an Iranian/American/German who was born in Iran, raised in Germany and been in US for the past 20 years. She is planning to move to Germany if she can’t land a job in the next few months.
The finance guy is thinking of getting more education but I’m not sure if that would help much in current circumstances. Maybe if shit show stops in few years!
One other guy lives in DC area and was doing some sort of business software for pentagon. He was saying that DC area has been hit very hard and housing market is gone down by 15-20% in the past 6 months.
Boston area is showing signs of weakness with biotech and education sectors being squeezed. Up to a year ago one could not find for sale signs for miles and lines in front of any that would hit the market. Now, I can see hundreds of homes for sale within my neighborhood and almost zero buyers.

The trend continues! Two more friends got laid off last week. One is a PHD from Harvard doing biochemical research and the 2nd is a finance specialist with healthcare company. 5 in total that I know and I don’t know that many people here!!!
