Yup that is the fear. The trick is to keep people unhappy so that they cause chaos and then you can move in n do whatever ...

Reza, civil war is my biggest fear. It is in Israel's best interest to have a weak Iran. A civil war would be the best recipe. It is crazy to think that RPG will stand up to Israel and not let this happen. He is a mosad asset and has no backbone. They will use him to weaken the government and then send in weapons to cause a civil war when Russia supports sepah and does not back down.

• Eyewitnesses have reported violence on the streets of Iran as the country enters its third week of anti-government protests which have spread across all of its 31 provinces. Details are emerging about some of the Iranians killed in a brutal crackdown by security services against the demonstrators.
• US President Donald Trump is weighing a series of potential military options in Iran following the deadly protests, two officials have told CNN. In a warning to the US, Iran’s parliamentary speaker said American military and commercial bases will be treated as targets for retaliation if Washington does intervene militarily.
• At least 496 protesters have been killed and more than 10,000 people arrested over the past 15 days, according to a US-based human rights group. Iran has now been offline for more than 72 hours after the authorities shut down internet access and telephone lines amid the turmoil.

I don't think they killed many. Zionist propaganda is increasing the numbers so that they can convince Trump to attack.

There is a gathering in LA federal building. Everyone from chap kaj and rast will be there. 2-4. RP people will be there.
The country needs a strong leader. RP is too soft and nice. He is not going to cut it. The country needs a ruthless brutal dictator like his grandfather that almost all Iranians respect. Everyone from left and right except Akhunds speak highly of Reza Shah. Who do you think can be the Reza Gholdor of 100 year ago who saved Iran from its lowest point in history under ghajars. Who?

We have not seen this before. Iran’s digital blackout has now deployed military jammers to shut down access to Starlink. This is a game-changer for Plan-B connectivity for protesters and anti-regime activists when domestic internet plugs are pulled.
“Despite reports that tens of thousands of Starlink units are operating inside Iran,” Iran Wire reports, “the blackout has also reached satellite connections.” It is reported that about 30 per cent of Starlink’s uplink and downlink traffic was (initially) disrupted," quickly rising “to more than 80 per cent” within hours.

Little information coming from Iran is dire. I have seen anywhere from few hundred to few thousand deaths. Massive number of injuries and arrests. In addition to internal, cell phones and landlines are spotty at best. People can’t even talk to each other inside Iran.
I suppose we are going back to old days of flyers or signs on walls to keep people aware of the next gathering.
It seems US/Israel would act in coming days. The extent and locations are unknown, of course.

F### US, Israel and IRI

Zinsky, excellent piece. I think this piece is closer to philosophy than comedy. It is so true. But you are right. I do not think most Americans and non-americans understood what this means. A lot of this is going on right now in the Iranian community.
