Comments: The 30-year Treasury bond yield touched 5.446%, a level not seen since June 2004. The benchmark 10-year Treasury note yield, which is tied to rates on mortgages, surged to 5.15%, near levels not reached since July 2007. The 2-year note yield was flat on the day, but scaled to a 2023 high earlier in the week. Those moves came as oil prices rose sharply. International Brent crude futures rose 1% to around $105 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude gained 1% to around $93. As yields surged, so did the market's anticipation of further rate hikes from central bank policymakers. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York. No suicides have taken place onboard. A defense official told CBS News two of the suicide attempts occurred during active fighting with Iran. The letter covers the entire length of the Lincoln strike group's deployment, which began in November of last year.

Comments: Faramarz Jan, I agree with your 4-point post below; you hit the nail on the head. I am not however sure if they have the N-bomb yet. I think if they did, it would have been better for them, and this war would never have happened. I am 90% certain they did not have it on February 27th, the day before the war started. I am not sure if they were able to develop it since then. I don't think it is so simple they can develop it in such a short time. I do think that are seriously thinking about it, however, and may have already started to build also and they need a bit more time, maybe the mid-term election, or maybe sometime next year?

Comments: Cost of hiring a super tanker in the past was $20K-$50K a day. The highest historical rate is $120K/day. Now, it is $1M/day.
