Comments: Faramarz, “the trap” is not really just me saying it. Certainly we don’t hear it on Fox or CNN or even PBS. But when you listen to scholars all over the world, not just Chomsky but others in Russia, France, and even Ukraine, you hear that common theme with amazing rationale around it. And don’t take Biden lightly. He is so smart. He is a fox. That is why he has lasted for like 50 years as a US policy maker.

Comments: Keefer, I think you got it right. 👍 Biden kept daring Putin to attack. And he kept telling Zelensky he is by his side. Now he is saying we can’t do anything militarily because Ukraine is not NATO. But then how come NATO could help Kosovo and Bosnia against Serbs? They were not part of NATO.

Comments: Zinski. No one fully knows everything, and you are absolutely right. There is a concept in psychological circles called "mirroring." We gravitate toward each other in sharing bits and pieces of information, thoughts, and actions. This way, we tend to conclude on a topic, I think.

UAE has no meaningful military even for a country that size. So, it's weapons purchase cannot be all that important. At the same time, I do not have a good explanation either. So, I am not sure.
