Comments: Faramarz, what could Trumpet possibly help Russia with now? He can't reverse any sanctions. I think the system brought him about initiating a break away from routine policies of war and bombings. Instead, rule with sanctions, fighting proxi against proxi groups with no direct involvement and selling weapons. The coming of Covid distracted his unorthodox ways of doing things, and that frustrated and at times scared the bejeezus out of him. That's all I got in answering your question. I'm sure you got good points on this. Please share.
Comments: Just saw the highlights, what a game!
Comments: Zinsk, thanks for telling us. I was about to post and ask how it went for him. Did you watch the game?
Comments: Another good day for Taremi. Scored a penalty and assisted on the 2nd goal. They won 2-1. I think it was the Hazfi cup of Portugal.
Comments: UAE abstained from UN Security Council vote on Russia due to U.S. response to Houthi attacks
Comments: 35 countries abstained. Does anyone know why the UAE abstained in the security council but voted yes here?
Comments: How did the UAE vote? Yes?
Comments: So much hate for Trump. ![]() I don't disagree with what you guys are saying and yes I agree he is a moron and Putin would not listen to his opinion. What I was asking was more about Trump's intentions. Is he offering Putin help, regardless of whether it is used or not? If I were putin and he offered such help, I would throw away his opinion but use him to get information through the backdoor. As for the US foreign policy, may be this is the US policy toward Russia regardless of the party. At least, surely, it used to be. But that changed with Trump. Now The republican party is a hostage in Trump's hands and Trump is a hostage in Putin's hands because of reasons we all know. :) This war definitely is bad for Biden and plays right into the Republican rhetoric that Biden is weak. But I do not see a down side of this war for Trump or the republicans. Do you guys?
Comments: Interesting. Only 5 countries, including North Korea, vote against U.N. resolution condemning Russia's aggression. The no votes on the resolution came from five authoritarian nations: Russia, North Korea, Eritrea, Syria, and Russia's close ally Belarus. Interestingly enough, Among the nations who abstained from the vote were Iraq, Iran, India, Pakistan, and China.
Comments: Keefer, excellent. You got this right down to your DNA level. Great summary.

Comments: Faramarz, I hope you saw Pozner's talk in its entirety. He's been around for as long as I remember. He is very well versed in US-Russia politics. I believe what we see is the real US strategy, regardless of Democrats or GOP at work, to recover from the 20 years of "losing" wars in West Asia. Using Ukraine to instigate a war with Russia brings down Russia and its economic recovery. Nord stream gas line stoppage is one to mention and dropings them from Swift another followed by life support. Once again, uniting the herd community of nations towards her goals is accomplished. This is the 911 v2 to get another blank check from the international herd to wipe out their conscious minds of her own war crimes. Another prep at work is to instigate Taiwan to do the same to China. Washington would win these two without using her own troops on the ground by using proxies of Ukraine and Taiwan to win the two projects. Now, in the process, we will definitely have a new world order. Whether that new world order suits the West or Eastern block remains to be seen. And yes, war and invasion of sovereign states are bad and should be condemned only, and only if everyone adheres to that and not being selective. If war in Ukrain is bad, then the ones in Iraq, Afghanistan. Libya, Palestine, Yeman, Vietnam, Iran, Grenade, Cuba, Venezuela, and... got to be condemned, and the occupier punished by all.

Comments: Agha Faramarz, There is no way Putin bases his decision on what the jackass Trump recommends. After all the pee tape is not on Putin. It's Trump's.
Comments: How many of you think Trump has been colluding with Putin on strategies to bring down Biden with the war being a corner stone of this strategy? The more I look at his, the more I am convinced that there is only one loser here, Biden and Democrats by proxy. Ukranian people are irrelevant.

Biden: Putin does not know what awaits him.
Comments: Taremi should be playing today.
Comments: on JCPOA the parties enter the final critical days of return to JCPOA with only days left to reach an agreement. With Russia and Putin overwhelmed with full attention on this war, and uncertain future of Putin and Russia, the playing field has been very complicated and Iran is struggling in making a call on the next move while China is playing it cool. From the European side it is Take It Or Leave It. Will Iran accept the new terms with Russia? The war came at a bad time for Iran. Some believe If it weren’t for the Russian invasion, it is possible that it would have been signed already. What happens with Iran if there is no agreement considering what is going on now?
