Comments: Canada has depleted its own stock of weapons in its bid to support Ukraine amid Russia’s military operation in the country, Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand has acknowledged.
“I believe that we have exhausted our inventory … to the extent that we are able to provide [more] weapons,” Anand said during a live appearance on CBC on Friday.
“There are capacity issues we need to make sure we are on top of for the purposes of ensuring the Canadian Armed Forces are well resourced,” she added.

Comments: Car-free Sundays in cities, working from home up to three days a week and using cost-efficient public transport – are just some of the recommendations made by the International Energy Agency (IEA) to the world. The 10-point action plan aims at cutting back on oil consumption “in the face of the emerging global energy crisis triggered by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.”
If Iran and Venezuala hold on for a while shit will definitly hit the fan. Pay back for back breaking sanctions.

Comments: It’s an interesting concept that is pretty old but got superchargered by social media. One person enters a conversation between others. Triggers both sides to start a fight online. Soon after, this person stays on the sidelines just comes in to trigger one side or another, enjoying the fight.
The only way to avoid this trap is to avoid the 3rd party’s attempts to drag you into a fight that does not exist.

Comments: One thing Trump was right is that he said that our educational system has produced the left we see today. What Fukuyama says was taught in political science 101 classes in schools of earlier decades onward after the Vietnam War.
It is disappointing to see this huge system of power go the way it has instead of bringing peace and tranquility to our world today. The Jeffersonian political ideas were not only by Enlightenment, earlier political thinkers such as John Locke, but hold on to your hat, Cyrus the Great! Yes, our very own founding father. Read: Jefferson and Cyrus.
Rotten to the Core? How America’s Political Decay Accelerated During the Trump Era BY FRANCIS FUKUYAMA January 18, 2021 FRANCIS FUKUYAMA is Mosbacher Director of Stanford University’s Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law and the author of Political Order and Political Decay. Writing in Foreign Affairs in 2014, I lamented the political decay that had taken root in the United States, where governing institutions had become increasingly dysfunctional. “A combination of intellectual rigidity and the power of entrenched political actors is preventing those institutions from being reformed,” I wrote. “And there is no guarantee that the situation will change much without a major shock to the political order.”

Fauci warns Americans could face more lockdowns amid spread of new COVID-19 variantDr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, warned Americans this week that they could soon face additional COVID-19 lockdown measures should a new strain of the virus cause case numbers to increase. Fauci, who also serves as an adviser to President Biden, said the BA.2 subvariant could soon increase the rate of infections in America. He suggested that Americans should "be able to pivot" back and forth between a more common way of life and the measures that were taken in an attempt to slow the spread of the virus at the height of the pandemic.

Comments: Me?
I actually defended you that you did not insult the kurdish Iranian. And added to that what happened is when you don't raise your voice for the people of Iran it may be perceived as you being aligned with the elements of terror and mafia in Iran. Which we know you are not. No one, no true Iranian ignores and accepts brutality against its own people and minorities at the expense of an excuse called tamamiat arzi. Our tamaiat arzi in recent years has been compromised by two attacks (war) instigated by Russia. The unfair Caspian Sea division by Russia and the latest lease of Persian gulf and our islands for 25 years to China. We have to be honest to ourselves and see the bitter reality.

Comments: Ali, you should take that issue to the politicians in Iran and get your answer there, and believe me, I have read about the issue. But it is for you to take it to them. You want me, like you, jumping up and down, constantly barking at any mihandoost for an answer? And if an answer does not satisfy your life-long dogma, acused them of akhund parasti while enjoying the posts by هاشیه نشینان شیطان صفت? No!

Comments: Keefer khan except that maybe people feel you stayed quiet or even supported when we lost our right in Caspian Sea. That was a huge tamamiat Arzi issue. Just like you were indifferent about tamamiat arzi of Persian gulf to China. Chain is no saint. Look what they did in Sri Lanka. They now practically lost their tamamiat arzi to China. Our latest loss of tamamiat arzi in the past couple of centuries was not by KSA, not by Israel, not by USA, not by China, not by UK, but by Russia. But our slogans are against all except Russia. That is the problem. But once again tamamiat arzi cannot be at the expense of people suffering. We cannot completely ignore the suffering of noble people of Iran. That should be our number one priority. Our number one enemy historically has been and still is Russia. And history will repeat itself.

Comments: Zinsky khan. That is where you need to come out of the FATF blacklist. Yes we have the American Sanctions and will be lifted but keep in mind that IRI self sanctioned itself by not joining FATF and ended up in the blacklist. This FATF blacklist is not imposed by West. It is totally self imposed. Rohani Rabiei and Zarif did their best to convince the government but Elite Mafia did not allow that.
This is how Rouhani government summarized it:
“I guarantee that [as a result of being] on the [blacklist] there will be damaging consequences, a surge in the costs of trade, problems in export and bringing back currency [export earnings] to the economy, loss of friends’ and neighbors’ interest in working with Iran, and benefiting from international trade.”
President Hassan Rouhani has long supported joining the FATF. Parliament passed four bills regarding the FATF in 2018 but only two cleared the Guardian Council (GC). Another two − one concerning the UN’s Palermo convention on international crime, and a second on ‘financing terrorism’ − have been stuck at the EC, which arbitrates between state bodies.
Rouhani’s government argued that being blacklisted by the FATF was Iran’s “second fundamental problem” after United States sanctions. “Being blacklisted [on February 21, 2020] has demonstrated its effects during the time of [US] sanctions and its consequences will show even more clearly in the post-sanctions time.”

Comments: I have been away from Iran for close to 50 years. My only and only interest is the safeguarding of تمامیت عرضی ایران. I sympathize with and have been actively involved in helping my hamvatans from distance for years and don't have the need to prove that to anyone here or elsewhere. Other than that, there's nothing tangible I could do or would be able to do in regards to the form of regime there. It is for the hamvatans within Iran to choose their own. I am simply pro Iran in the sense that I described above. If anyone here would see themselves against the government there, that's their proactive. The sole purpose of my postings of videos or writings in politics here is simply conversation starters. I have welcomed the opposite postings and encouraged that even though it is not my site, I have known Faramarz since 1996. I believe he has always been a fair judge of character and fair to all sides.
I had no part in anything that might have been said about the topic of Kurds. The reason I asked Kamkar what happened was to make sure the videos I posted did not infring on his belief. I have no idea who said what, but somehow found myself the target and barrage of nonsense by هاشیه نشینان شیطان صفت.
The attackers who question our commitment to peace for both Iran and the US have no idea what we have been doing for this country here and the same for our mother land. Our scientific services to this country way surpass the services the child like attackers could possibly be doing in their lifespan, and they can take this to the bank.

Comments: The price of gas here in the US and oil in the global markets are mostly the combination of gouging and anxiety about the worst case scenario. Iran does have a ton stored ready to ship. But what the Biden administration and the world needs is its psychological impact rather than how much supply actually improves as a result. So, once announced, in the world markets they will hype up the Iranian reserves to calm the fears. Bu here in the US I am not sure how much Biden will decide to hype since the republicans will abuse his relationship with Iran anyway they can.
