Comments: For the Lebanon game, who wants his high school teacher to be the university professor? Bring in Gha'lenowie and test him with the current roster of players. One coach who has been overlooked for the position. Between now and the big dance, it is the best opportunity to test him while we look for any foreign candidate.

Comments: Egypt and Algeria win World Cup qualifiers in Africa According to ISNA, in the final round of the 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifiers in Africa, 5 matches were played, in the most critical match, which was a repetition of the African Cup of Nations final, Egypt defeated Senegal by one goal. Kierosh's team took the lead very quickly in the 4th minute with a goal by Salio Cis and maintained their lead until the end. In the other home game, Congo drew 1-1 with Morocco. Tunisia won the Mali by one goal and took a big step towards reaching the World Cup. Algeria also beat Cameroon with Islam Soleimani's only goal, and the match between Ghana and Nigeria ended in a goalless draw.
Comments: Jahanbakhsh joined the TM camp According to ISNA, Alireza Jahanbakhsh, the Iranian midfielder of Feyenoord Netherlands, introduced himself to the national team in Mashhad today (Saturday).
Comments: Here is a better figure from he same publication abou he bAdgirs:
Comments: I agree with you guys on Iranian coaches. Even Daei is inexperienced t the international level. And in good tradition, we make our best potentials sit at home so we ruin his chances and ours at the same time. I like how ShahriyAr is thinking and agree that only CQ can rescue us at this stage. But that is a long shot. I think Egypt and CQ will qualify to the WC. Among the top ten available, I like the "the ever combustable Antonio Conte".
Comments: I do not believe there are any Iranian coaches today, now, for this WC that can help TM..., we are not there..., not yet any way.
Comments: I like Egypt and I like CQ, and I want CQ to be successful in Egypt. I also have a very good Egyptian friend, and she will be happy if/when Egypt qualifies. Having said all that; there is a part of me that thinks that if Egypt loses to Senegal and is out of WC, CQ becomes available and perhaps we can pick him up. CQ is the only coach that I think can Help TM now, so close to the WC, because of his history with us. There are perhaps other excellent foreign coaches whom can guide our team to success; but they take time to get acclimated and we just do not have that kind of time. CQ spent several years with us and is the PERFECT choice for us..., but first, Egypt has to lose to Senegal (Sorry my friend).
Comments: I personally would like Vahid Hashemian. He might not have time to fix much before the WC but could build on it for the next WCQ in 2-3 years, if they let him.

Comments: Honestly, we don’t have a coach in Iran with international coaching experience that counts. I don’t think there are many/any high caliber coaches free to join TM either. I think they will give it to one of the current vatani assistant coaches. It won’t make a huge difference at the end.

Comments: Keefer jAn, it is like flying. You have to have a negative covid test before your trip. If you are vaccinated, the test can be from 72 hours before the trip and if you are not vaccinated, it needs to be within 48 hours. As for bad test results, u r right. PCR tests have a lot of false positives. If you would like to have a negative test or a false negative, do the antigen test which is what we did. Some airlines/countries do not accept these but cruises accept them.
Comments: Professor Faramarz, let me ask you, if I may. What precautions are in place in going on a cruise now? That's in addition to the ones in place on land. We have come to the point that the Covid test kits produce a lot of false positives. What's your take on that? By the way, welcome back and hope you guys had a good time.
Comments: Again last post was the imposter and not me. Mr. Imposter, I do not read Iranian papers disseminating rumors and lies. Responsible journalism is dead in Iran and any responsible journalist is either in prison or out of work. This is my last post for the next 3 days.
Comments: Keefer jAn, Daei won the league with Saipa as a player/coach and then did reasonably well at the TM headcoach. I think among the vatani coaches he is the most qualified. But he is not a viable choice because of two factors: 1) He is like CQ asks for proper support for his team and players and goes to fight for it, 2) He has taken on some sardars. So, he is not a viable choice. This is a pipe dream. He has been excluded from Iranian football for years now. Ali Karimi, IMO, is the worst option. Has no coaching experience, except for a few days after which he quit and has behavior/temperament issues himself. In my opinion, NN or Golmo are the best choices. We do not really have another good choice.
Comments: More from the same friend:
Comments: Faramarz jan, your friend has provided a reasonable view, in my opinion. Could any of our resident veteran football fans provide a summary of Daie's coaching? I, for one, could use the refresher. |
