Comments: Faramarz, The link I sent you was for fun only. As of now, it is not the most accurate, because of the unknowns. Here is what I mean by that: 1- The UEFA team could be either Wales (my prediction), Ukraine or Scotland. According to the "Current FIFA Rankings", the first two teams would be in POT-3 but Scotland will go to POT-4, if qualified. The link is assuming the final UEFA team will be in POT-4, which may not be the case, if either Wales or Ukraine qualify; 2- The playoff between South America and AFC will pair Peru against either Australia or UAE. Peru will be in POT-3 and the other two in POT-4; 3- And finally, the Costa Rica vs. New Zealand; they will both be in POT-4, so the link is accurate. I believe there may be another FIFA ranking happening within the next 48 hours and before the Draw on April 1st. If so, we have to wait for the new rankings and new POT allocations, before we can truly predict the Groups. If so, then our prediction contest will not be valid. But we could still do it, just for the kicks :)

Comments: By the way, do u guys see anyway that Qatar can get out of its group? In one simulation. I got Qatar, Croatia, Senegal and CONCACAF. Even in this very mild group, they will lose to Croatia and Senegal by a bunch!

Comments: Keefer Jan, I think Faramarz answered the question in my place. They are very unskilled teams. Whoever gets either of them, will have an easy win. It is shocking that USA is in POT-2 and ranked 13th in the world..., it is laughable.
Comments: Costa Rica 2-0 USA. Two very poor teams. Every WC time, I get surprised how FIFA can justify giving north America three spots. Other than Mexico, they are always lame, even for Asian standards. I sure hope we get grouped with one of these teams.

Comments: You guys argue about the terms of CQ contract while no one in Iran is going to bring him back.
Comments: CQ can not argue with the contract. He is a loser for now and not going to WC. Getting a free pass to WC is a dream for him. And if he believes in his abilites as a coach, along with his supporters, then this is the way to prove it once and for all and make a good sum of money. We can't pay him a penny unless he does something different that all the other 5 times we went to WC since he got 2 shots and could not do it. Trust me, he will jump on the deal 
Comments: FIFA sent a letter to IFF asking for an explanation of what happened on the sidelines of the Iran-Lebanon meeting, which female spectators were unable to enter the stadium. Fifa's letter did not discuss suspension and only asked for an explanation.
Comments: This situation with CQ is beneficial to both sides. Maybe more so for CQ. He goes to the World Cup in the last minute, adding to his portfolio. He gets a team that possesses the star to perform, and he knows them. IFF probably evaluates it based on financial first. Then, I bet my bottom dollar on them thinking of the ramifications from the wave of positive or negative excitement it would bring.
