Comments: Zinsky, Thanks for the update on the Seedings. I have created new seeding chart and POTs and will post them soon. I found the following bit in FIFA;s website (which You had already stated in your post): FIFA has revealed that the three teams still in with a chance of progressing through the play-off path by the time of the draw will be treated as one entrant, and placed in pot four with the lowest-ranked nations. Based on this, regardless of what the rankings f the remaining three teams are, they will be placed in the POT-4. This of course changes the POT allocations, which I will post shortly. So, we can re-predict our Groups based on this new data.
Comments: Faramarz Jan, Very well said; and I do recall Daryuish's stories back then. He was indeed taking full advantage of the "rumors" of him being detained. and climbed the fame as a result.

Comments: Shahryar jAn, I appreciate it. things like this bothers me a ton and has a history in our long history, for as long as we have had a history. But specific to honarmandAn, many of them (not all) are khod foroush. They go where the money goes and do not care about any thing else. Darious is another example. If u guys recall, during shAh's time, he allowed people to spread rumors that Shah was against his song and some (like SAle dohezAr) were forbidden, and that he was jailed because of his political views. None of this was true and he was actually in rehab because of his additions. He never came out to deny any of it and allowed people to continue to think that he was against shAh and his songs were political. Now he does all sort of zer that his vatan has been taken from him. And, we the fans, take all this far too far and think that the singer is expressing his political view. It is rather that he is eating the bread at the daily price! Ebi is the same. Comments: Faramarz, I am with you on that; and feel similar. I just didn't want you to suffer more because of his statements, and lack of Vatan Doosty. Some people prostitute themselves, very easily, unfortunately.
Comments: Keefer, CQ has not responded to Iraq's offer, and nothing has been set yet, according to the report. I really think he wants to come back to IRAN. he tried Colombia and Egypt and he failed in both places. The last place he was successful, was in fact IRAN. He was worshipped there. From psychological standpoint, people who just failed, want to feel good and think about the last time they felt good and want to return there (men go back to old girlfriends, sometimes because of that). I am still hopeful IRAN makes a move on him. If not, it is possible, he may contact IRAN directly, himself. At least I hope he does.
Comments: Shahryar jAn, I actually feel very bad if I listen to his music now. How can I not? He sold himself to the arabs. So, I will avoid his music at least for selfish reasons. I do not want to be reminded how he sold himself to arabs for money. He has a bunch of political songs and now he says Persian Gulf is a political statement and so he wants to avoid it? Give me a break. |
