Comments: Faramarz, It is truly a sad state of affairs. It’s not just airline industry. Nothing is the same. USA was known for customer service. As customers, we used to have a voice! A certain amount of expectation. Now !!!! Airline industry, after 911, has changed drastically and unfortunately for much worse. After we were forced to pay for everything including food and drinks, legroom and luggages, seat selection and priority boarding, they don’t even guarantee taking one from point A to point B. Delays and cancellations without any accountability! Prices are going higher and service is down the towelettes… What are you going to do? Nothing!!!
Comments: Yes, Shahryar jAn, I am at home now. After a horrendous day at the airport and on calls between travel agent, american airlines and iberia, the result was nothing. No one wanted to help and the only thing that I got a promise of refunding my ticket. Of course, I now have booked my ticket again and leaving tomorrow and so, yes, I have lost about $2K in the process. My ticket now was $4K instead of $2K. Truely, american airline industry has become even worse than what we have in Iran. Keefer jAn, it is unclear to me why they sell tickets for flights that they do cannot fly. I guess because they can. Because of the deregulation of the airline industry, no one can be held accountable. More than the money, I regret the loss of a day of my life in this way. And I will miss a day of a three day conference! No one feels responsible. And, it is sad to say that I was not the only one. At the airport, there was a long line of people who had lost their flights.

Comments: میلاد عبادیپور در خصوص برد مقتدرانه ایران برابر آمریکا، گفت: جا دارد که در ابتدا به تک تک بازیکنان تیم ایران خسته نباشید بگویم و همچنین تبریکی به مردم عزیز ایران داشته باشم که در هر شرایطی ما را حمایت کردند. وی تصریح کرد: همان طور که چندین بار گفته بودم و الان هم یادآوری میکنم تیم ایران فقط برای کسب تجربه اینجا آمده است. این افتخار را داشتیم برابر تیم بزرگی مثل آمریکا والیبال بازی کنیم و واقعا از این بازی لذت بردیم. کاری به نتیجه برد و باختش ندارم، بازی برابر تیمهای بزرگی مثل آمریکا، برزیل و لهستان بازی کردن لذت بخش است و واقعا بازی امروز لذت بخش بود.
