Comments: Ostadan Faramarz and Shahryar gerami, Thank you for your kind words. Your fair treatment of others is exemplary!
Comments: HAMVATAN khan, who was Khosrodad? Also since you are from a military family of the old regime, I thought you may know this, can you tell me the ranking of military from Sarbaz Sefr all the way up? 🙏
Comments: One fact about Arteshbod Khatami, other than being The Shah’s brother in law, was that he was buried right next to Reza Shah. His tomb was destroyed under the order of Sharia Judge, Sadegh Khalkhali, after the revolution.
Comments: HAMVATAN, truly fascinated by these information. I am most likely younger than you but extremely interested in our past century history. I have been studying Qajar dynasty through Mohamad reza shah. I have also studied in detail the occupation of Russian and British in Iran during WWII. What Russians did to us specially northern Iran was brutal and uncalled for. British left, but Russians would not let go and even tried to create mini republics in Gilan and other parts of north and installed their own agents. Could not believe it until factual Soviet documents revealed for me that Mirza Koochak Khan was actually no saint and you could actually accuse him of being a Soviet agent. About Khatami, I saw a documentary on him and the big thing about him was that he was not as influential by Americans, and to weaken or setup to crumble a system of political system, you first have to get rid of the top committed to the system military person. And when you put 2 and 2 together you see that killing of Khatami, Marshal Ogarkov of Soviet in 1984, and even killing of Qasem Soleimani all have one thing in common, prepping for dismantle. They are essentially the main blocks on the way of a bigger change. Whether the change is motivated internally or externally. Once again thank you. I do want to know more, so I may once in a while reach out and ask questions. And do not worry about imposter, we are intelligent enough to distinguish between real and imposter. I try to find the Khat documentary for you.

Comments: Notable Pilots Unlike many other nations with modern air forces, Iran was engaged in a long and protracted war. The 8 year long conflict with Iraq gave the IRIAF the opportunity to develop some battled tested and hardened fighter pilots. Though information about the IRIAF is, at best, hard to access, two men stand out as the best Iranian fighter aces. Jalil Zandi is Iran's most successful fighter pilot. Flying the American made F-14 Tomcat he claimed 12 aerial victories, with 9 of those being confirmed by western sources.[1] These include 2 MiG-23s, 2 Su-22s, 1 MiG 21 and 3 Mirage F1s.[2] These totals make him the most successful Iranian fighter pilot, the most successful F-14 Tomcat pilot, and the most recent (and last man) to claim ace status. Yadollah Javadpour flew the F-5 Freedom Fighter, another American made jet, and claimed five Iraqi aircraft shot down; two being reliably confirmed.[3] This makes him an ace and the most successful F-5 fighter pilot, but his greatest claim to fame happened on August 6, 1983 when he shot down an Iraqi MiG-25.[2] This was a significant achievement for an F-5 pilot, as the MiG-25 is a much bigger and faster aircraft with a substantial altitude advantage. His other confirmed kill was an Su-20 on October 17, 1980.[4] https://military-history.fandom.com/wiki/History_of_the_Iranian_Air_Force
Comments: Rahgozar, last post of the day just for you before allaaf gets busy! When people get in power and are power hungry, they are scared of their own shadow. Shah was no different. Akhoonds are even worse. Khatami was family too. I don't know for sure but the sign were there for some conspiracy. As for Jahanbani, the Russian connect was superficial through birth. He was a true patriot and not agent of any foreign power. But as I said, the ruler are afraid of their own shadow. I know Rabiee was the commander of Mehrabad AFB (#1) for the longest time so Khatami must have had high confidence in him. I do not know much about his personality. He was low key. I think Jahanbani had only one son and he was a commercial pilot as your postings pointed to. He has a daughter in LA who had come few years before revolution for education (per my conservation with her mother) and stayed (hearsay from some friends of mine who were in their circles).
Comments: Faramarz Jan I just checked. That video is real. Not a mAket. Real monster.
Comments: We look back and see what a bunch of Mihanparast we had in charge. Afsouss.
Comments: Fascinating stuff HAMVATAN. Thank you. I heard US plotted Khatami’s assassination and I don’t think NJ would have had any Russian connection. He was way too patriot and vatanparast. What do you know about Rabiei? And what about NJ’s son?
Comments: Last message is from allaaf and not me. My last post for the day.
Comments: Zinsky jan thanks for the info. Iran is staying a cheap hotel.
Comments: The 2022 World Cup, which will begin in Qatar in less than four months, has the entire footballing world in high gear. All of the World Cup stadiums are within an hour of one another, making it a manageable affair. Additionally, it implies that throughout the World Cup, every team will have a single base of operations. All of the teams will have their own World Cup training facilities, dubbed Team Base Camp (TBC), according to a recent announcement from authorities. The finalized locations for each team have been confirmed. During the tournament, a competing team’s headquarters will be at the Team Base Camp. It combines a specialized training location with an ideal hotel or other types of lodging. While the World Cup qualifiers were still taking place, each country was given a variety of options for accommodation, with inspection visits taking place and a “first come, first serve” rule in effect if more than one country desired the same base. Out of the 32 teams, 24 will stay within a ten kilometre radius. Eight teams, including England, Germany, Belgium, and Portugal, have opted to be headquartered further from Doha, but most teams will be staying close to the action by staying around the capital. According to FIFA, this will be the most compact World Cup since the 1930 tournament, which was held in Uruguay. England is booked in at the Souq Al-Wakra hotel where authorities plan to close off a section of the nearby public beach to ensure the privacy and the comfort of the players. Spain and Argentina have chosen to stay in more basic accommodation at Qatar University. For the duration of the competition, they will be billeted separately and trained on different fields. The Al-Rayan Hotel will host the national football team of Iran, which will compete in preliminary group B alongside teams from Wales, England, and the United States. Additionally, the Al-Rayan Club will serve as the home of the Iranian national football team’s training facility. Australia will be staying in the cutting-edge Aspire Academy, which has lots of training facilities, while Costa Rica will be staying at the four-star dusitD2 Salwa. All of the training facilities will be of a world-class standard, according to Nasser Al Khater, CEO of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. “We’re pleased to let fans see the world-class facilities that Qatar has developed for their national teams,” he said. Fans of the 32 teams that made it into the renowned competition may rest easy knowing that they will have the greatest resources available to do well at the World Cup, he continued. Al Khater also emphasised that the majority of the effort put into building the top-notch facilities for the World Cup will not be wasted after the competition. These resources will be used to to the fullest extent possible after the competition, thanks to the legacy planning undertaken by Qatar. “As with all of our World Cup projects, legacy planning has been a key factor and many of the training sites renovated and built will benefit local clubs and communities long after the tournament has finished. The new hotels will also support Qatar’s growing tourism industry post-2022,” he explained. Comments: Keefer, indeed he could have staged a coup (even from prison) due to his popularity in IAF. There was no one that did not like him. The same to lesser degree for Khatami. There is a theory that Shah got rid of Khatami due to his popularity. The circumstances were very suspicious. We were living at Vahdati when it happened (at Dez dam) and there was a lot of secret service type of activity (our house was on the main route to the tarmac). Usually, in event of a mishap Military Police was involved. Not in this instance.
Comments: Kamkar jan, indeed roohash shad.
Comments: This reminds me of how we grown and educated bunch act in the IFP sites: • درباره این داستانها به صورت خصوصی من برای مردم توضیح میدادم که واقعی نیست و دروغ است. جواب جالبی که همیشه میگیرم این است که "نه آقا، تو نمیدانی، من میدانم". من نمیدانم چهطور من که پسرشان هستم از آنها کمتر میدانم ولی یک جایی میرسد که بحث بیفایده است.
Comments: HAMVATAN, Great stories. Thanks for sharing. Roohesh shAd. |
