Comments: I don’t agree with everything said here but it’s interesting to read, nevertheless… Today, this vibrant people’s movement has yet to achieve the freedom that all Iranians deserve. But that is not because the people are too weak or the government too strong. It is because the country remains, to this day, a pawn in the hands of global powers. A tyrant stays in power by isolating his people from the rest of the world. In the case of Iran, four decades of sanctions, containment and global isolation imposed by world powers have done the tyrant’s work for him. https://www.latimes.com/opinion/story/2022-08-04/iran-protest-persian-contistutional-revolution?_amp=true
Comments: Keefer jAn, we had not read hat article. We will now! This is amazing, if it is what I think it is!!! Mamnoon for sharing.
Comments: rahgozar. Here is why.
Comments: Hejab is about control. By now they don’t really care but realize no hejab will lead to many other freedoms people want. Not much of the Islamic rule remains in Iran. Controlling people, especially female population is the only thing left…
Comments: Zinsky KAmkAr and others. I really do not get it. Here is a country in a total turmoil. Having all kinds of issues on all fronts. Why are they so much focusing on Hejab. Is Hejab really that big of an issue they have to tackle? I really do not understand. Everything is expensive. People cannot meet the daily needs. And then they focus on hejab. Why?
Comments: Round 10??? Top Iranian and U.S. officials will resume talks in Vienna this week on reviving the 2015 nuclear pact, officials from both countries said on Wednesday, though they played down chances of a breakthrough and placed the onus on each other to compromise.
Comments: USC paid $1.1B to survivors of sex abuse by campus gynecologist . One survivor says 'I would've liked an apology,' tooGeorge Tyndall was a University of Southern California gynecologist when, in 2017, a nurse at the school's clinic reported him to USC's Sexual Violence Prevention Services. He was asked to resign. After an investigation, Tyndall, 74, was accused of sexually assaulting thousands of women who visited the clinic, and now, after pleading not guilty, he's awaiting trial on 35 counts of sexual misconduct.

Comments: Very well said. We are kind of screwed no matter what. By we, I mean average Iranian. As I have said multiple times, no other country would do anything to help Iran. At this stage we should hope for not getting screwed fully by anyone and we also know that is happening as we speak. I’m sticking to my 25,000 prediction 👍
Comments: kAmkAr The Economic situation in Iran is very grim. I know Zinsky jokingly mentioned 25,000 toman for a dollar, but realistically you are looking at 3x times that. Russia is basically telling these guys what to do and they have no choice but to obey. If they are smart enough and if they are really thinking about the nation, they would want to part with Russia.

Comments: Since I don’t have a clue about Currency, I’m going to make a prediction. $ will fall to 25,000 vs Iranian currency by the end of 2022! 🤪

Comments: Thanks for the video Keefer. To further elaborate on my last comment I mention that the current world order is undergoing a fundamental change. The trans-Atlantic alliance of the post world war is dead. The US started the killing process when it called the EU the "old world" back in Bush Sr. days. The current alliance favored by the US is more of an ethnic rather than a political one. The alliance brings together the main Anglo Saxon ethnic groups that are dispersed around the world together. It's mad up of the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. This is mainly to counter the future alliances of the BRICS and BRICS plus countries that encompasses more than half the population of the world. The next conflict will be between these two blocks and mainland Europe has to decide whose side they are going to choose in this upcoming worldwide conflict.
Comments: Strong dollar is essentially a huge disadvantage to smaller economies such as Iran. Iran trading with Russia in Rubles is a serious bad news for iran. I JUST DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY MAKE THE MOST DANGEROUS AND FINANCIALLY MOST DISADVANTAGEOUS DECISIONS IN IRAN. No one in a right mind, even average investors are investing in Russian rubles. Anyone on this page?

Comments: Observer, Dollar before Enghelab 7 Dollar after Enghelab 31,000 Dollar is week. Nadimi comes from Economy is for khar school.
Comments: Faramarz khan I have been posting as observer for over 5 years here. You should be able to tell who the imposter is. Just like most on the page I am against the US bullying foreign policy but that does not mean everything about this country is bad. Zinsky, US was not the only country which printed currency. Every country did that during Covid. How they have to compensate for it is the difference and has to be done delicately. Although in general strong dollar is good for America (at this very point) since It is one side of about 90 per cent of all foreign exchange transactions, STRONG DOLLAR IS NOT NECESSARILY A GOOD THING for exports the rise in the dollar will shave a good 5 percent off the earnings growth of S&P 500 companies this year, or roughly $100 billion. That’s a sizable impact given that earnings among those companies are forecast to grow around 10 per cent this year
Comments: Faramarz jan, I myself rooting for a good football. As I mentioned before, I am color blind now. I also root for equal media exposure of all teams. Too much emphasis has been put on red and blue unfairly. |
