Faramarz. That is why both Republicans and democrats don't want him near the Whitehouse. Exactly because of that. He is a Russian agent and he did not bother Russia at all. This Russia RESET started kind of with GWB (which Trump hated). But GWB was busy with taking over Iraq and passed the buck to Obama (which Trump hated). Obama was passing it to Hillary (which Trump hated). So the Russia reset (weakening) thing is bipartisan doctrine. And Trump is just a parasite distracting the operation. Republicans will do anything to make sure Trump is not elected. But they cannot just come out and straight say that. They need the Trump base. That is 80 million votes.

Faramarz khan in one sentence you say that shah's military was dependent on US and was not independent. On the other hand you say Russia sending our satellite to orbit achieves our independency. Isn't this a scenario that makes us dependent of Russia. How could Russia interfering with our military and secret services make us independent? Also during iran Iraq war soviet supported Iraq and even supplied them with mustard gas to use against Iranians.

But Arash, Biden will be gone in two years and the only one most likely to come into power is Trump. If that happens what will happen to all these plans? I think this time around, as a returned favor to Putin, Trump will really destroy Nato.

The main thing that any government in Iran needs to assure that it remains independent as much as possible, at least from the defense point of view. Shah's demise when his own secret service betrayed him because it was run by the CIA, the Iran-Iraq war when no one came to Iran's help all point to one thing: U have to have your defense be independent and fully under your own control.

This satellite may partially achieve that. I do not know!

Zinsky Trump is an idiot and his fan base are wasting their time. Republicans and Democrats are united and want to make sure this idiot never makes it to the White House and it is a right thing to do. America was in the middle of progressing itself to the top with Obama and this guy who is not even a Republican came and disrupted everything in this country and even had the nerve to be friend and support Russia.

We know since Obama time there was a plan to corner Russia and weaken Russia as a superpower. Obama was very successful and democrats were waiting for Clinton to finish the job and RESET Russia. But then this idiot comes and tries to appease Putin. I am 100% certain Putin did collude the election and wanted to stop Obama / Clinton progress. Thank god, the son of bitch is out of the office and this way Biden can continue what Obama and Clinton started and that is weakening Russia. In the next election anyone Republican or Democrat from the establishment will be good enough and will carry America to the top just like how Biden is doing it as long as it is not trump. Don't be fooled with Biden's low approval rating domestically. Biden is continuation of Obama / Clinton and Russia Reset doctrine and they are after bigger and better things for America.

Yes, the deal does not bring anything they don't have already. with or without the deal we have Faghr, gorosnegi, fahsha, and dozdi at all levels.  But Zinsky khan, Israel and Russia are very close friends and behind the closed doors probably laugh at Iran's ass. Every opportunity Russia finds, she will stab Iran in the back. I would not trust Putin.

Vladimir Putin is the closest thing to a friend Israel has ever had in Moscow

The history of the Israeli-Russian relationship is complicated, to say the least. The Soviet Union supported the creation of Israel in 1948. With the emergence of Putin, though, Israel found the closest thing to a friend it’s ever had in Moscow.  In 2014 Putin was one of the few world leaders to support Israel’s Operation Protective Edge against Hamas, saying “I support Israel’s battle that is intended to keep its citizens protected.” In 2005, Putin became the first Russian president to ever visit Israel, visiting the Western Wall — Judaism’s holiest site — as well as Israel’s Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial, where Putin observed a moment of silence. The Russian president even reportedly purchased an apartment in Tel Aviv for his then-84-year-old Jewish German teacher. Putin returned to Israel in 2012 as the guest of honor at a state dinner and to inaugurate a monument to the Red Army soldiers who defeated Hitler in World War Two.

Finally, Israel’s third major interest vis-à-vis the Kremlin is the approximately 200,000 Jews remaining in Russia. Indeed, Putin’s positive feelings towards Israel are echoed by what some describe as Putin’s philosemitism, or affinity for the Jewish faith. Domestically, Putin counts numerous Jewish businessmen and officials as friends, and acknowledges the positive influence of Jews on him during his childhood. Putin also supported the founding of the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center in Moscow, even donating his own money; stated his “fierce opposition to any manifestation of anti-Semitism and xenophobia”; ensured the return of  many synagogues to Russian Jews previously seized by the Soviets and just initiated a law against anti-Semitic Biblical commentary.

Zinski,

I hope, you know by now, that I share your view that we don’t have friends nowadays, but only sharing of common interests. At any rate, if Iran signs the deal, it depends on what they have accepted. I HOPE if they do sign, it would be what they wanted. In that case I would simply be wrong on my Israeli emphasis.

If they do come to an agreement this time around and sign the deal, the US withdrawal for the second time would not be as hard as the first time. Iran has already entered economic deals with the East in addition to the current by passing of the sanctions. That’s why I say this deal does not bring Iran anything that they don’t have alreadt.

My apologies for opening the can of worms!

All I was asking is IF the document is signed, how does it effect the relationship with the East? I don’t personally trust either side. No one is our friends. They all want to use us as they please. I don’t know what is in the deal but IF Iran/USA signs it, I have to believe it has been approved by Israel.

Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei's adviser Ali Akbar Velayati

From Russia With Love: Iran Official Praises Putin's 'Spirituality'

Although Iran had declared a pro-East policy in 2018, its reliance, particularly on Russia became more evident during a visit by Vladimir Putin on July 20.

Following the visit, which Washington said "proves Moscow's isolation," and some Iranian analysts characterized as an indication of Iran's isolation, reformist daily Arman Emrooz in Tehran summarized both sides' arguments in a Saturday, July 23 report that called Iran's move an unwelcome development.

Nonetheless, Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s supporters have exhibited endless fascination with Russia and Putin's charm offensive during his latest visit.

The Supreme Leader's senior international affairs adviser Ali Akbar Velayati, who was dozing off while Khamenei and Putin were talking through interpreters, has said: "What do reason and wisdom tell us? Should we go toward the West that has always been our enemy? Or should we go toward the East that has always helped us as much as it could?"

Velayati claimed elsewhere: "Putin believes in spirituality. Previous Kremlin leaders were Godless, but now from Putin to lower officials are either Christian or Muslim."

As if this was not enough, Assembly of Expert member Ahmad Hossini Khorasani said: "Putin's modest gestures in front of Khamenei was like a pupil's sitting in front of his teacher, and that is an honor for Islamic Iran."

International relations expert Ali Bigdeli, however, told Arman Emrooz that that Iran's reliance on the East is a strategic mistake and certainly against Iran's national interests. However, he noted that anti-Americanism has always been part of Tehran's policy since the 1979 revolution, but the government of President Ebrahim Raisi has escalated the anti-US policy.

Further evidence of Bigdeli’s criticism emerged Sunday when two hardliner media outlets called for “pre-emptive” defense against the West and in support of Russia in the Ukraine war.

Referring to Russia's track record of broken promises and hypocrisy in its relations with Iran before and after the 1917 Russian revolution, Bigdeli said that Iran should have taken a lesson from Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Bigdeli warned that Russia is not capable of meeting Iran's economic needs and noted that Moscow has already failed to fulfil its commitments in nuclear, air defense projects and other projects. Bigdlei said that the latest visit by Putin simply showed that he was isolated in the world following the invasion of Ukraine and was pretending that he has found a major ally in Tehran.

He warned that Iran should not land in Russia's lap as a result of its enmity with the West. He noted that Iran currently needs $200 billion to reconstruct its oil industry but Russia and even China are incapable of providing funding for that project.

International relations expert Hassan Hanizadeh told the daily that "Iran's ‘Looking East’ policy was a choice between bad and worse." However, he justified the move as "an outcome of broken promises on the part of the United States" and said that "Iran started to seriously align its policy with those of Moscow only after former US President Donald Trump pulled the United States out of the nuclear deal with Iran in 2018."

"As the Vienna talks ended in a deadlock, the current government of Iran is now keener to follow the Looking East policy as US sanctions badly affect the country's economy, and the West's broken promises have pushed Iran to get closer to Russia and China," Hanizadeh said.

Ultraconservative analyst Foad Izadi on the other hand argued that getting close to Russia can serve Iran's major national interests. He said pro-Western analysts describe the current situation as Iran's reliance on Russia and China, but he claimed Iran is simply maintaining relations with them and is not building reliance.

However, Izadi warned that Iran should not get itself entangled in dichotomies such as choosing between reviving the JCPOA or relying on Russia.

Zinsky Khan, I agree with very much everyone said. Russia is the only hope we have to be protected against West. Europeans and Americans have their eyes on our borders. If you look at the history West and Zionists are the ones always threatening to alter our borders. Russia has always been a good friend, a very caring neighbor. Look what they just did with our Khayyem satellite. They released it to the orbit free of charge for us without wanting anything in return. As far as the deal is concerned, they have been after maximizing Iran's benefits in the deal. Sure, with such a loyal friend we have to return the favor. They have been our representative in Vienna. So they are with us and America cannot do shit. America is jealous now since we are dealing with Russia in Rubles. The strongest currency in the Universe. These two genius scholars below Doctor Chegini and professor Nadimi explain things very straight forward. Yes they are pro Russia but then again we have to be by Russia's side, they protected our benefits without having any eyes on Iran and we stay united with them to fight the West and the Zionists. At the end who do you want to be friends with? Russia or USA? Of course it is Russia. Even our beloved foreign Minister said that it is very important that Russia's interests are met as part of the negotiation in Vienna.

So let's sign the deal. We get the money. People still should wait. We need to spend the money on our proxies so I ask people to wait because once in for all by another 25 years we will get rid of the zionists. We have an unfinished business with Esra-Hell, and Russia will return the favor and will give us atomic bomb for free, now that we gave Russia Khayemm. And with food crisis they promised they will give us free flour and grains.

Long Live Russia.

Zinski, my two cent on your question:

A few facts on the ground are: IRI is anti zio regime. This regime basically runs the US foreign policy, especially one pertaining to west Asia. The regime in Israel does not, repeat, does not accept a country of close to  90 million in the region, especially one with a , civilizational background as Iran, with a military and nuclear ambition. A country with regional and international hegemonic claim. Whether or not the latter point is achievable is another story and depends on IRI activities in Africa, South ,Central America, and Central Asia . Investigate for yourself and see whether or not they are present in the said regions.

So, any agreement that benefits Iran, will not be signed by the US, dictated by the zio regime. Iran ought not sign anything that would take away their work in nuke sciences, purification of Uranium, and overall limit their economical activities. Let’s just think about it, if, big if as you say, Iran signs a deal with the US and moves westward, history has proven that we’ll still have an Eastern powers, like Russia and China, to worry about. If the US really wanted to bring Iran back to their orbit, should have given/enabled/agreed to Iran’s possession of a few nukes to defend themselves against the Eastern powers. Otherwise, Russia is currently cut off from the rest of the world, would have made a Ukraine out of Iran too.

Now in the absence of the Western allegiance,  Iran has economic interests that is provided by the Eastern block, Russia and China,  through establishment of East-West, and North-South corridors. It is estimated that close to $200 billion would be Iran’s share from the said hub annually. What kind of agreement with the west would ever bring us to that economic bottom line? Aside from that fact that Iran, now is capable of defending herself against the likes of esra-HELL. The answers are out there, investigate. Regards.
