Comments: Iran’s foreign policy since Iran/Iraq war has been relatively the same as Americans & Israel’s . Keep Middle East in the state of conflict to preserve its borders from being attacked directly. As the 2nd Bush once said, “ We're fighting them there, so we don't have to fight them here”! After Afghanistan and Iraq, the goal was to attack Iran in early 2000s. The only reason it didn’t happen was the fact that Iran started creating havoc in both countries, specially in Iraq. All this bullshit about helping this group or destroying Israel is their way of preserving the borders and by doing so saving IRI. Billions & billions have been waisted in the region by all sides, including Iran, to make sure it is never stable. As usual, the people are the ones being screwed by all means. Millions lost their lives, millions had to leave their homes and lost everything they owned. No one wants a peaceful Middle East. A peaceful Middle East would cause problem for the west, east and all their buddies.

Comments: Faramarz jan, He was one of the best friends of my college era from the 70’s , and later on the best man of my wedding,. He was of an Irish descent, very much active politically, rooting for the liberation of Northern Ireland from the menace of the old fox, England. He was very pro Iran in liberating herself from the yoke of this power. He was an intelligent human being. Died a few years ago of heart attack.

A while back Russia invited Iran to have a friendly but before Iran responds there were statements, rumors and....that Iran can not do that.
