That's $725 for all 4 games. The cheapest was $140 for the first game  and the most expensive was $225 for the elimination round in Dallas.

As far as I can tell, FIFA is also making the ticket prices a bidding game. So, there are no set prices at this stage, at least.

I understand the hotel/accommodation prices are set by market demand and by the host country. Does ticket prices set by FIFA or the host countries? At this rate, the cost might be out of reach for many, specially the fans traveling from overseas. Who knows? Maybe they feel that fans will show up no matter what!

This was a corrupt decision as well. Is WC there to make money for FIFA or is it there for the fans to attend and enjoy the Beautiful game? If the intent was both, clearly they failed in choosing USA. With these prices, Trump's paranoid visa policy, and all the other problems, many of these games will have less than capacity audience. If the argument is that it is okay, fans can see it on TV and FIFA can make money from TV ads, then are we talking about driving the game to fanless stadiums?

This will probably be the most expensive WC for the fans. It was a study done that the average cost for 3 games, including flights, hotels, tickets and food is $10,000 to $12,000!
I’ve been to 2 WC games. Tickets were $250-$300. Hotels and flights to France were just over 2 thousand dollars.

Applied for WC tickets a few minutes ago. Had to wait 45 minutes in the queue to get in the system.
I appled for 4 games, all 3 group games for Iran and also the Jul 3 game in Dallas which might involve Iran if the place 2nd in the group.
Got the cheapest Category 3 for $725 total person. Will find out on Feb. 5 if I get the tickets [biggrin]

Problem with these companies that strike a corrupt deal with trump is that they get hyped up and stock price shoots through the roof. Then when the reporting comes, the numbers end up far below expectations and they crash.

The visa issue for some of the TM players is becoming increasingly likely. There are at least 2 and possibly 5 players. I suppose it would make sense to apply for the visa right away and see if they are rejected.
This might make the TM a different team. Some new/younger players should be considered. Or, just file a complaint with FIFA and boycott the WC.

Iran’s embrace of the SCO and BRICS is tactical and strategic. In the short run, it hopes to leverage its membership in these institutions to keep its economy afloat. In the long run, it holds aspirations for these institutions to undermine the supremacy of the United States and add momentum to the rise of a multipolar world—a vision it shares with China and Russia.
The E3’s decision to trigger snapback sanctions has further reinforced Iran’s “Look East” agenda. Tehran now views SCO and BRICS as central to its survival, as sources of diplomatic support, trade opportunities, and protection from isolation. But such transformative relief is likely to remain unfulfilled. Structural constraints limit both organizations’ ability to deliver decisive relief for Iran.
BRICS and the SCO both suffer from weak institutional capacity and competing interests among member states. China and Russia, the principal powers within both blocs, have not indicated a willingness to support Iran with sanction-busting measures through these organizations, lest they become entangled in Iran-U.S. tensions. Moreover, internal rivalries hamper the SCO’s security agenda, while BRICS lacks financial cohesion. In their current forms, the anticipated benefits of de-dollarization and technology transfers from these groups will likely remain incremental at best.
SCO and BRICS can however amplify Iran’s global, and regional, standing and provide new avenues of cooperation. This serves an important political and diplomatic purpose. But neither organization is in a position to shield Iran from sanctions in a meaningful way—nor to reshape the global order in the near future.
