The quality is just not there. I would have given the continent 1.5. Quality-wise, Mexico has always been used to justify the C/NA ration. But they are tanking now too. I wonder how much they will have improved since their qualifiers.
Comments: Japan has been the best team in Asia for some time. They are much stronger than us, especially in the midfield. And I would say that the first half Japan was only an experimental Japan. The real one showed up part of the second half. We are not that strong in the midfield. This game was not good for us because it wakes up the US team and potentially will no take us lightly. We'll see. But our game against the US will clearly have to take a very different approach. I think CQ's style would work great against the USA.

Comments: KAmkAr Jaan, Can’t argue with you. Even football is not the same for most of us. It is a distraction but not even a good one these days. Iran and Iranians have been fighting, being arrested, injured or killed asking for basic human needs/rights. I’m not sure what will the future hold for our country but at least for me, the real world is very different from the online world I participate just to keep myself sane.
