There are a couple of players who do not belong. One is the right D, I think he is #2. The other, I did not catch but plays in the midfield. So far, pretty horrible passes!

This is a pretty even game with both sides assessing each other. To me, it looks like Uruguay has a better defense, but Iran has more poisonous counters.

I am no sure they should have opened this game to broadcasting!

Guys cut it out. I would like to say only this and then would like us to move on:

KAmkAr jAn, if that is really you, we have known most of the people on this board for a long time, but all we get to see is what they do on their past time. Passing judgment on what people like to do to get away from the daily grind is neither fun nor fair. You have no idea what people do with the majority of their time. But since so much of this kind of judgement goes around, sadly, we tolerate it. All I can say is that at least we allow nonsport discussions here and try to maintain it civil. If you really believe that not watching football will help the cause in Iran, take your campaign to oonyeki. Football is all they discuss.

But what I cannot tolerate is posting using multiple handles and "trolling." If you are posting under different handles, please stop. People use different handles for opinions that they really deep inside are ashamed of it and do not want to be associated with. They are either insulting in nature, personally attacking, or something similar.
