Comments: Come on!!! World Cup could be targeted by Iran: reports The head of Israeli Defense Forces Intelligence said Iran could attack the World Cup in Qatar
Comments: Shahryar jAn, here is the prediction for Rostam: A 3-0 SA M 2-1 P D 2-0 T F 3-1 A Max A 3-0 SA M 1-1 P D 2-0 T F 2-0 A
Comments: I also agree with you guys that nothing is lost and with two wins against two very beatable teams, we can advance. But with such a fan performance, I do not see this happening. The only one hurting is the people of Iran. IRI will blame all this on the fans and move on. This is not going to hurt the government in any way.
Comments: The other major story is that in spite of such a shitty performance, Taremi is a top scorer, a candidate for the golden boot. Will not continue like this, but achieving this against the #5 rank in one game is impressive: FIFA World Cup 2022 Top ScorersThe table below is updated as of Monday, November 21.
Comments: Shahryar jAn, you missed the most important event of today: Fans yelled at their own team bisharaf the whole game. It was so loud. I do not blame the players or the coach for this loss at all. It is all fans doing it. and then getting upset by the outcome. I am willing to bet that there are a lot of mojahedin among them and then a whole lot of people who are brain dead and chanting along with them.
Comments: Queiroz, who managed Iran at two World Cups during an initial eight-year stint between 2011 and 2019 before returning earlier this year, said after the game: "In 2014, 2018, we had full support from the fans. And now you saw what happened today. "That's why my duty, it is probably to invite the fans who are here already to support the team or they should stay home. Why did they come here to be against the team. We don't need them. "It's much better they stay home. To have fans who only support the team when we are winning, we don't need them. It's something that the players can feel when they are playing." Queiroz appeared to seek to clarify those initial comments later in his postmatch news conference, adding: "When I make the comment about Iranians, of course all Iranians in the stadium are all welcome. They have the right to be pleased or criticise the team, that is not a problem. "Those that come to disturb the team with the issues that are not only about football opinions, they are not welcome because our boys are just simple football boys. "They represent a country. I had the privilege to work in England, Portugal, many places and I know the passion of the game in England, Portugal, Spain and Brazil. Iran is not a fake country of football that you need to build up fake situations. "The passion of football is all over the place. These kids, they have one dream: to play football., It is not their fault the World Cup happens in this moment. "You don't even imagine behind the scenes what these kids they have been living in the last few days just because they want to play football, just because they want to express themselves as footballers. "Whatever they do whatever they say, they want to kill them. Can you imagine at one stage of your life, whatever you say or do or think, you are killed? They only have one hope. Let them represent the country, play for the people, everybody represents the people here."
Comments: I need to tell myself, “it’s only football”! Considering the events around the world, including our own homeland, losing a football game is not such a big deal. It’s only a game. Fans need to either support/enjoy the game or just avoid it. These guys are just footballers. They are not politicians or activists. It’s only a game…
Comments: Let's summarize today's events: - Iran lost to a 5th rank team in the world, that has expectations to win the Cup, 4 weeks from now - I saw an article that salary of English players' team is more than the next highest three teams combined! - The loss was our worst performance in World Cup history, but still counts as one loss - We have 2 more games to play; if we win both, we will advance. If we win one and draw one, we have a good chance of advancing - The big question is whether or not we have our goalie back for the next game. If so, we have a great chance of getting a result - With Wales and USA drawing today, they both will be hungry for a win against us, meaning, they will be vulnerable to our counter attacks that have been CQ's signature In summary, I am still very hopeful we can advance. Taremi's 2 goals show that he can score against any team. We need to establish two things however: A) Will Binavand be able to play on Friday? B) Will the fans support the team or boo them?

Comments: At least 1 dead, 16 injured after car drives through Massachusetts Apple store
Comments: If the first day of full matches is any indication this is going to be one intense WC and maybe the best ever. It favors big EU teams whose players are at their peak since they have played 3 months of club football. Maybe WC should be played in the fall from now on! The USA wanted very badly to win this match. They are very uncomfortable playing Iran in the last match and needing a win to advance. Wales is totally exhausted after this game, they put 1.5 games worth of energy in this match. CQ got a draw and a win in the last 2 WCs and did not get to go to round of 16, maybe this time with a loss he will be able to do it. But he HAS to win the next game.
Comments: This may be the best score for us, and both of these two teams are easily beatable by TM without turmoil. But we do not have that TM. This is a damn easy group!
Comments: This was one of those games brought to you by Advil! Lack of skill was hard to watch.
Comments: 1-1 Keeper got his hands on it but Bale shot was too hard to deflect.
Comments: Penalty for Wales. I think a tie is the best for us.
Comments: Where is the ref from? Is he from Iran?
Comments: Both of these two teams are quite beatable for a TM without turmoil.
Comments: I have to say, I am very impressed by how USA has been playing in the first half so far. I think they played as good as England, if not better. They are playing with a lot of confidence, and Wales is giving them a lot of respect and room to play, as Iran did to England. I was picturing two losses for USA before they meet us, so they have nothing to fight for, except pride. If USA wins, that changes my scenario. I am not sure what is best for IRAN, but I still want Wales to win today.
