Comments: The problem for the US is that they play as if they have the skills of Brazil. They can run, can take the ball up, but then creating real situations are rare and then on those rare moments, they do not have the skills to finish. Great example was the minute 2 one-on-one chance they had. Vali Pulesic, the big hero riiiid.

But I agree, it will be difficult for USA to draw now, although not impossible. Maybe more players from Netherlands have to come down with a flu, lol

Comments: The US is finally facing a team that is not a total waste (Wales) or in the middle of a disaster (Iran). England just took it easy on them and they are also not a good team. Here, they play a team that plays exactly like Iran in strategy, sitting back and waiting for those attacking opportunities. The difference today is that the Dutch team is not in the middle of a disaster, and they have much better midfield than Iran does. They do not make all those BS passes. This Dutch team is not a great team but certainly better than TM!

Comments: Zinsky, We make one prediction only and that is for the game itself, plus extra time if needed. If however, we predict a draw, then we also need to choose who wins the PKs.
Comments: By the way, I have a theory regarding games and teams that score early. If a team scores early (first ~10 minutes), they usually end up losing 1-2. They start getting over-confident and then defend their lead. If the other team presses hard and is hungry, they usually erode into the lead and eventually win. I told this to my Japanese friend a few days ago, when they fell behind Japan in minute -11; and she could not believe me but at the end she told me I was a genius, lol. The same thing happened at the Korean game when they fell behind 0-1 in the 5th minute. I text my friend and said they will win 2-1. She could not believe me either, but still that was the final score :))) Although I do not think this is going to happen with Netherlands vs USA today.
