Comments: England played the great game today. Their defense is solid and they can score on anyone. France is also strong but not as good. In all honesty, non of the teams are that amazing. The difference between the teams are much less obvious.

Comments: HAMVATAN, I agree. This could be the 1st major step towards their demise. They had to do something but any sign of weakness is what they have avoided for years. These young people in Iran have shown their resilience. They want change and they will get it.
Comments: This is the death nail for IRI. This is their "man sedaye enghelab shoma ra shenidam" moment. The first crack. They had so many chances to have the people on their side for 40+ years. They resisted reform, lied, stole and killed. So people want them gone, They don't trust them and let's face it, they have taken the country backwards in a major way.
Comments: Faramarz, Another update on solar! After nearly 3 months, they installed the panels. I assumed that is it but… Multiple inspections from various agencies. The last step is for the utilities to install the new meter. That could take another 2 months! Someone needs to realize this is just stupid. It takes 6 months before the system is up and running!!!

The decision, reported by state news outlets late Saturday night, appeared to be a significant victory for feminists who have sought for years to dismantle the force and for the protest movement ignited by the death of the young woman, Mahsa Amini, 22, in September in the custody of the morality police. The unrest has amounted to one of the biggest challenges in decades to Iran’s system of authoritarian clerical rule and the decision to scrap the morality police was the government’s first major concession to the protesters. The morality police “was abolished by the same authorities who installed it,” Attorney General Mohammad Javad Montazeri said in remarks during a meeting on Saturday where officials were discussing the unrest, according to state media reports. But he went on to suggest that the judiciary would still enforce restrictions on “social behavior.” On Thursday, the attorney general said that the authorities were reviewing the country’s head scarf regulations and would issue a decision within 15 days.
