Comments: No Faramarz, they beat them both in this world cup. The last time, they lost to Portugal and tied Spain (I believe).
Comments: Did Morocco beat both Portugal and Spain? Why did they not advance? They may have tied one.
Comments: Ironically, Morocco beat two teams that they were grouped with in the last World Cup (Spain and Portugal), along with Iran. And Iran beat Morocco the last time.
Comments: Morocco did it; the first African, the first Arab, the first Muslim country in the Semi-finals...; so many first times...

Comments: They did bring him in right away. I think it was the right move. First half looked real bad for Portugal.
Comments: Portugal was playing 4-1-4-1 in the first half. Unclear why the switched to 4-2-3-1. The problem is that they have retreated too far back and all the lines have collapsed. They r now essentially playing 5-3-2. The need to push back up high. Otherwise, they are giving up too many all alone chances. They r lucky Portugal stinks at finishing!
Comments: If they bring Ronaldo in right away, it shows they are scared and desperate. It will be better for them to bring him in minute-60

Comments: Faramarz, you predicted a 2-1 win for Morocco, and mine was 2-0... Morocco could have scored a 2nd goal at the end, but lack of experience killed it. I think there was a PK that should have been called in favor of Portugal at the end also, but the ref didn't. Overall, Morocco is holding its own, but you know that Portugal is coming in very strong in the 2nd half..., Morocco better watch out for the wave.
Comments: If Portugal plays the same scared way, this game will be a blow out at the end. In a game like this, it is a mistake to put Ronaldo out. He brings mental strength which the Portuguese do not have. They are scared of the Moroccans.
