The final comes down to how the 2 teams can contain the superstar of the other team. I think France has a better tools to contain Messi with their midfield players especially if Rabiot is healthy and can play. Also, the Netherlands showed how to score on Argentina with bekesh ziresh football which France can play with Giroud as their target forward. So I give the edge to France but Messi is a player that can beat any team at any moment with some magic :)

It seems like Asian Cup will take place in Qatar early 2024. That is just over a year from now. Knowing Iranian federation, they have no plans whatsoever to build a team for the tournament. The youth team has no coaching staff. The TM is too old and worse, too disorganized. A year is not enough to build a solid team but it could be enough to build a decent team. Once again the federation will drag their feet till couple of months before the games…
