Ghorbanat Faramarz Jan. It has been a pleasure to do this for my doostan and hamvatanane aziz; you may call it a labor of love :) 

And I consider you one of the most honorable people I know; so I will adjust Nach's prediction. This will give him 5 additional points, and puts him in sole ownership of 4th place (he was tied with Parviz).

In all honesty, Nach changed his prediction for the game as well to the same thing that I changed it to late at night, but I did not see it until after the game. I am not sure whether this would have given him a share of the lead or not. It looks like not.

I want to thank ShahryAr for a great deal of time that he put into this to make the World Cup so much more time. Kudos to you my friend and thank you. Congratulations also to Daryoush and Zinsky for a hard-fought competition to the end. The table still looks very close at the top which means we all had a great time.

We have a tie for the first place: Daryuish and Zinsky are tied for first place with 163 points each.

And Rostam is in third place by himself with 162 points. He received 7 points today; the most anyone received along with Faramarz who also got the highest point of 7 today. 

Parviz and Nach tied for the 4th place with 156 points each..., very close contest indeed.

I keep repeating this but the hand ball rule is totally fucked up. In this world cup FaghAni got reprimanded and sent home because he called a PK on a player who fell backwards and put his hand down behind him to break the fall but the shot came and hit his hand and clearly changed direction. VAR confirmed the PK. But after the game FIFA reviewed the call and declared it as "unintentional" because the player's head was looking forward and not to the back where the ball was. FaghAni was sent home after that. Today, they called a PK on an Argentinian player with his back to the ball when it hits his arm from the back! WTF

The clown, Argentinian keeper, got the golden glove. 

I think Alvarez who met Messi when he was 9 and Messi was coming back from one of his world cups, got the best young player award.
