As we feared, Iranians were used as a bargaining chip to get the regime to accept all terms. Knowing this regime, they will make a deal to save their own lives.

It seems like Trump is getting what he wants without directly getting involved. Iran is going to negotiate without much power. I’m not sure how that would help the people but again, it’s never about people!

The sign on the truck is the best one I have seen so far. It represents the majority. There are many great leaders among them. The challenge is that the airways, social media, and whatever else ways of mass communication there is, is filled with propaganda about a couple of hand chosen puppets by foreign powers. There is absolutely no way for the internal candidates to emerge in this media storm.

Holy crap. The guy in the middle has killed over 100,000 people in an advertised genocide campaign. And the guy on the right has given him the bombs and the money to do it. The guy on the left is a big no one - a puppet.

The Los Angeles Times reported that demonstrators hit the U-Haul and ripped off a sign attached to the vehicle that had a message in Arabic and another in English: "No Shah. No Regime. USA: Don’t Repeat 1953. No Mullah."

United States President Donald Trump has said that Washington is considering “strong options” in response to the protests in Iran, including possible military intervention.
“We’re looking at it very seriously. The military is looking at it, and we’re looking at some very strong options. We’ll make a determination,” he told reporters on board Air Force One late on Sunday.
He said Iran’s leadership had called, seeking “to negotiate” after his threats of military action, and that a “meeting is being set up”.
But he added that “we may have to act before a meeting”.

A person appeared to drive a U-Haul truck through a crowd during a Los Angeles demonstration in support of the Iranian people on Sunday.
Hundreds gathered in the Westwood neighborhood as part of a march backing protesters in Iran, local outlet NBC4 Los Angeles reported.
It was not immediately clear if there were any injuries in the incident involving the box truck.

Yup that is the fear. The trick is to keep people unhappy so that they cause chaos and then you can move in n do whatever ...

Reza, civil war is my biggest fear. It is in Israel's best interest to have a weak Iran. A civil war would be the best recipe. It is crazy to think that RPG will stand up to Israel and not let this happen. He is a mosad asset and has no backbone. They will use him to weaken the government and then send in weapons to cause a civil war when Russia supports sepah and does not back down.

• Eyewitnesses have reported violence on the streets of Iran as the country enters its third week of anti-government protests which have spread across all of its 31 provinces. Details are emerging about some of the Iranians killed in a brutal crackdown by security services against the demonstrators.
• US President Donald Trump is weighing a series of potential military options in Iran following the deadly protests, two officials have told CNN. In a warning to the US, Iran’s parliamentary speaker said American military and commercial bases will be treated as targets for retaliation if Washington does intervene militarily.
• At least 496 protesters have been killed and more than 10,000 people arrested over the past 15 days, according to a US-based human rights group. Iran has now been offline for more than 72 hours after the authorities shut down internet access and telephone lines amid the turmoil.
