Comments: Volleyball Olympic qualifiers started yesterday in 3 countries. Iran is playing in Brazil and they lost the first match 1-3 to Germany. They play Ukraine later today. Comments: Instead we should give attention to athletes and federations that do great things without all the attention and money. Medal in gymnastics, 2 medals in ping pong and the women that won a medal in the mountain bike event. And today Iran's men chess team beat mighty China team and is on track to get a medal.
Comments: I think we should forget about football results in the Asian Games. This was a patched up team that was not even close to the U23 team that beat the same HK team a month ago 3-0 in the Olympic qualifiers. SEP did not allow their players to go, PER allowed 3 players but took them back so they can play in the ACL tomorrow. Comments: This was me yesterday! “I am predicting 21 gold, 23 silver, and 24 bronze for a total of 68 medals.” Boy was I optimistic… My prediction today (since we are not actually competing, I can change it daily 😜) 12 gold, 18 silver and 23 bronze for a total of 53!

Comments: Seems like they are planning to build a new stadium near the airport. Knowing what we know about IRI and how they operate, I assume we will have a half ass stadium costing 3 times as much as it should and getting 1/3 of what it should be in 10 years or so!!! Looking at the airport itself, it’s one of the worst airports I have seen. It took 40+ years to “complete” and it looks like an airport from 60 years ago. Here goes another billion dollars to build a stadium that is worth less than 10 million, if that! Hopefully, they build bathrooms that could be used! Airport bathrooms are not worth pissing!

Comments: رشتی, I keep away from the other side. I don’t visit it anymore. I like many of the people there but unfortunately, the 2 everyone knows have made it hostile and uncomfortable for anyone who disagrees with them. I realize they might not even see it themselves. They gang up on anyone with different opinions. I had no problem dealing with either one but after a while when they can’t argue respectfully, they start name calling and labeling. That I don’t like to hear. Either way, I have moved on and hope we can all do the same.
